Use of Sick/Personal Time Off. An employee will be allowed to take sick/personal time off credits, not yet accrued, up to the annual maximum referenced above. Payment for sick/personal time off shall be at the employee's straight time base rate. In no instance, will an employee be allowed to take more than the annual maximum credits allowed nor will an employee be allowed to accumulate credits from year to year. If sick/personal time off credits were taken before awarded and the employee terminates from the company, the credits taken will be deducted from the employee’s final paycheck. Sick/personal time off will be paid at an employee's regular rate of pay. There is no payment of Sick/personal time off balance upon termination for any reason.

  • Personal Time Employees shall be eligible to take accrued PTO time for personal reasons. Such time must be scheduled in advance in accordance with Employer policies and be approved by the employee's supervisor. Personal time PTO must be taken in at least one hour increments.

  • Use of Sick Leave Credits An employee may draw from the employee’s sick leave credits in conjunction with Workers’ Compensation payments to equal, but not exceed, the employee’s regular daily rate of pay. When the insurance company makes payment, the Town shall be reimbursed for that portion of sick leave covered by insurance and the employee will be re-credited with the proportional amount of sick leave. An employee may not use vacation or personal leave credits to supplement Workers’ Compensation.

  • Use of Vacation Leave A. Vacation Accruals earned at the end of the month are available for use the 1st of the following month.
