VACANCIES AND NEW POSITIONS 17.01 The Gallery shall post notice of permanent and temporary job vacancies subject to Article 4 – Temporary Full-Time Employees for a period of seven (7) calendar days before any such job is filled. Probationary employees shall not be entitled to apply for posted vacancies. It is agreed that the Gallery will not interview external applicants until applications from existing employees have been reviewed and bargaining unit employees who are qualified in the opinion of the Gallery have been interviewed. Further, the Gallery will notify existing applicants in writing once the successful application is selected.
VACANCIES, TERM POSITIONS AND NEW POSITIONS 3001 Subject to section 3002 herein, the Employer agrees to post notices of vacant, term or new positions covered under this Agreement for at least seven (7) days to enable nurses presently in the employ of the Employer to apply for same. Such posting shall not preclude the Employer from advertising outside the site premises. All postings shall state minimum qualifications required, the equivalent to full-time (E.F.T.) and date of closing of the competition. Job descriptions shall be available to applicants on request. 3002 The Employer will be required to post a notice of vacancy for only five (5) days for a vacancy that is created by:
VACANCIES AND JOB POSTINGS 17.01 When a job vacancy or vacancies occur within the bargaining unit and the Employer intends to fill the vacancy, the Employer will post an announcement of such vacancy or vacancies on all Union bulletin boards. Said postings shall remain posted for a period of five (5) working days. The announcement shall contain the job title of the vacancy, a brief job description and the rate of pay, and the date of the posting and bid deadline date.
VACANCIES AND PROMOTIONS Section 1. The following procedures will be followed in the posting and filling of vacant or newly created permanent positions. The purpose of this system is to inform employees of vacancies and newly created positions and to afford employees, who are interested and who feel they qualify, an equal opportunity to apply for the vacant or newly created position. It is understood that newly hired employees and employees on a leave of absence for any reason may not have the same period of notice as other employees concerning position vacancies.
Positions Temporarily Vacant (a) The Employer agrees to make every reasonable effort to ensure that the workloads of employees will not be unnecessarily increased as a result of positions temporarily vacant due to illness, vacation leave, in-service training, or any other reason.
Connecting Transmission Owner’s Scope of Work and Responsibilities The Connecting Transmission Owner will design, construct, own, operate and maintain all Connecting Transmission Owner’s Interconnection Facilities, except as otherwise stated above and in the Project Specific Specifications. The Connecting Transmission Owner will complete all engineering reviews, field verifications and witness testing, etc. in accordance with the ESBs and the Project Specific Specifications. Connecting Transmission Owner shall provide the revenue metering CT/PT units and meter socket enclosure. The Connecting Transmission Owner shall: provide, run, and wire both ends of the color-coded cable for the revenue metering instrument transformer secondary wiring; perform all terminations; and supply and install the meter. The revenue meter may require a communications link to the RTU. The Connecting Transmission Owner will specify and run those communications cables. The Connecting Transmission Owner shall complete all wiring, testing and commissioning of the RTU.
New Positions A. Each newly created position shall be assigned by the Employer to the national craft unit most appropriate for such position within thirty (30) days after its creation. Before such assignment of each new position the Employer shall consult with the Union for the purpose of assigning the new position to the national craft unit most appropriate for such position. The following criteria shall be used in making this determination:
VACANCIES AND TRANSFERS A vacancy shall be defined, for purposes of this Agreement, as a position previously held by a bargaining unit member that needs to be filled, or a newly created PSS position. When all necessary parties agree, vacancies can be filled by organizational advancement or transfer from within the hiring department and shall not require posting. All vacancies will be posted for a minimum of seven (7) working days unless filled by transfer, reassignment, or recall of a laid off staff member. Notice of vacancies will be given to the Alliance President and Chief Alliance Xxxxxxx at the time they are posted on the University's electronic Notices GVSU Business board, and will be simultaneously posted at the University’s electronic employment website. A vacancy will not be filled until after the posting period has expired. Job postings shall include the classification, department, location(s), work schedule and the position description. The search committee will include a PSS member. Typically, vacancies will be posted as an open search available for both internal and external applicants. A job posting limited to internal applicants may occur upon approval. In each instance, all qualified internal applicants will receive an interview. The search committee must present strong justification for not selecting an internal applicant who meets the minimum qualifications of the position. When two applicants are equally qualified for the vacant position, based on current position description and satisfactory work and attendance, the more senior qualified staff member will receive the assignment. At the time of job offer, the University shall notify the selected staff member of any known or impending changes in the position. The Human Resources Office, or their designee, will provide internal applicants not selected for the position with rationale for the decision. Candidates who were interviewed but not selected may contact Human Resources to schedule a meeting with the Search Committee Chairperson, a Human Resource representative, and an Alliance Representative to discuss the reason for non-selection. The Alliance must notify the employer within three (3) working days that the meeting has been the step 1 meeting of the grievance process. If a meeting is requested or a grievance is filed, the position cannot be filled until this process is completed. An internal staff member selected for the position will be required to establish that they can do the job within eight (8) working days. Failure to qualify shall result in returning the selected staff member to their former position and is not subject to the grievance procedure. The staff member shall also have the option to elect to return to their former position within eight (8) working days. When making departmental changes, transfer shall be with the consent of the staff member whenever possible but when there is no reasonable alternative, it may be involuntary. When involuntary transfer is required, the least senior qualified staff member shall be transferred to a similar position (e.g., classification, full or part-time) or be given the option of electing an unpaid leave of absence with eligibility only for the next vacancy in their classification, if qualified. That person shall be disqualified from consideration when the position from which they were transferred is posted. Nothing contained in this Section is intended to prevent the University from making necessary changes in positions, eliminating positions or creating new positions.
SCOPE OF WORK AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Interconnection Customer’s Scope of Work and Responsibilities The Interconnection Customer will design, construct, own, operate and maintain the Interconnection Customer’s Interconnection Facilities and Collection Feeder Lines in accordance with the following requirements, to the extent not inconsistent with the terms of this Agreement, the ISO OATT or applicable NYISO Procedures: NYISO requirements, industry standards and specifications, regulatory requirements, the Connecting Transmission Owner’s applicable Connecting Transmission Owner’s Electric System Bulletins (“ESBs”), provided at the following website: xxxxx://xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx/ProNet/Technical-Resources/Electric- Specifications, the System Protection and Interconnection Customer Attachment Facilities Electric Installation Specification for Xxxxxxxxx Solar Project provided as Appendix C to the Facilities Study for the Small Generating Facility (“Project Specific Specifications”), as such specifications shall be modified as a result of the Interconnection Customer’s post Facilities SERVICE AGREEMENT NO. 2557 Study modifications to the Interconnection Customer’s Interconnection Facilities, and Good Utility Practice. The Interconnection Customer shall submit all engineering design and electrical specifications associated with the Interconnection Customer’s Interconnection Facilities to the Connecting Transmission Owner for its review and acceptance in accordance with the ESBs and Project Specific Specifications. The metering of any redundant or standby station service provisions at the Xxxxxxxxx Solar Collector Substation shall be added in accordance with the Connecting Transmission Owner’s retail tariff, P.S.C. No. 220, and the Connecting Transmission Owner’s ESB 750. As per the Project Specific Specifications, the Interconnection Customer will install the RTU provided by Connecting Transmission Owner in accordance with Connecting Transmission Owner’s ESBs, indoors and within 15 feet of the meter(s), and remote from: • heavy traffic areas, work areas, and loading areas; • heat producing or high electrostatic or electromagnetic field producing equipment; and • station batteries. (Note: If no indoor facility is available, then installation of the RTU and revenue metering equipment in a dedicated, weatherproof, heated cubicle (accessible only to Connecting Transmission Owner) is acceptable.) For the revenue metering, the Interconnection Customer shall install a meter panel in accordance with the Project Specific Specifications, ESB 752 and ESB 750. The Interconnection Customer shall mount the revenue metering CT/PT units, make grounding connections, and complete all primary wiring. The Interconnection Customer shall install the meter socket enclosure near the Connecting Transmission Owner’s RTU in accordance with the Project Specific Specifications. Additional right-of-way (“ROW”) will be required for the construction, operation, and maintenance of the Line 301 Tap and must accommodate the 125’ x 125’ work pads required for the installation of the new structures. The Interconnection Customer is responsible for obtaining the property/easements needed for the Line 301 Tap line, access roads to/from the Line 301 Tap, and work pads, in accordance with the standards set forth in the Connecting Transmission Owner’s Standards and Requirements Relating to Third Party Acquisition and Transfer of Real Property Interests to Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation for Electric Facilities and Survey Specifications (January 2019). The Interconnection Customer is responsible for all permitting. Upon termination of this Agreement, Interconnection Customer shall be responsible for all costs associated with the decommissioning and removal of the Connecting Transmission Owner’s Interconnection Facilities.
Filling Positions The Employer will determine when a position will be filled, the type of appointment to be used when filling the position, and the skills and abilities necessary to perform the duties of the specific position within a job classification. Only those candidates who have the position-specific skills and abilities required to perform the duties of the vacant position will be referred for further consideration by the employing agency.
