VACANCIES AND TRANSFERS. During the school year, the superintendent or designee shall post notice in all school buildings announcing any district vacancy, which requires Kansas certificate/license. During vacation periods, such notices shall be posted in the district’s administrative center and the building phone trees shall be activated. Such positions may be filled after being posted for five calendar days. Educators who desire a transfer to a posted position must file a written transfer request with the superintendent.
