Changes in Schedules. Changes in regular work schedules may be made by the County provided that affected employees are given adequate notice of such changes. Except for emergency situations, and for the duration of the emergency, notice of a permanent change in a regular work schedule shall be given at least fourteen (14) days in advance. Employees will have the option to establish a flexible work schedule with the approval of the employee's immediate supervisor.

Changes in Schedules. 1. Start and stop times at the Technical and Education Center may be adjusted as needed, providing the contractual workday is not exceeded. 2. Provided all instructional hours/days mandates are satisfied, an early release, not to exceed three (3) hours, shall be allowed. The early release days shall not apply to the Technical Center and said early release days shall not exceed three (3) per semester. It is expressly understood that early release time shall be used as determined by the administration.
Changes in Schedules. Work schedules for regular employees and casual auxiliary employees shall be posted at least 14 calendar days in advance of the starting day of a new schedule. (a) In the event that any such employee's schedule of hours of work is changed without 48 hours advance notice, and if such change is the result of another employee utilizing a benefit provided for by the provisions of the Agreement, such as sick leave, bereavement leave, or for reasons attributable to another employee, the employee will receive a premium of 85¢ per hour for work performed in the first shift to which they changed, in addition to their regular pay. (b) In the event that any such employee's schedule of hours of work are changed after the hours of work schedule has been posted, and if such change in schedule is the result of indiscriminate rostering by the Employer, the employee shall receive pay at overtime rates for work performed on the shift to which they changed.

A flexible work schedule shall be based on a forty (40) hour workweek (or 80 hours bi-weekly, as may be permitted by law). Daily hours may vary and shall be permitted so long as the employee completes a full workweek or is scheduled to work a full workweek.
Changes in Schedules. (1) Work schedules for the following week may be changed at or before 3:00 PM Thursday of the current week; however, no changes will be made after 3:00 PM on Wednesday of the current week unless the employee(s) receive(s) personal notification (verbal contact) twenty-four (24) hours in advance of the start of the scheduled tour. (2) If an employee is called in on a non-scheduled Sunday and works hours equivalent to a full tour, or when an employee is required to travel on a non- scheduled Sunday on Company business in accordance with Article 16 and its modifications noted within this Article in Paragraph 14, (Transfers, Travel Allowance & Moving Expenses), and such travel is equivalent to a full tour, that Sunday shall become a scheduled day and the company shall designate one of the employee's scheduled days in that week as a Non- Scheduled Day. If the employee is not notified of such designation before the end of the Sunday work, the last scheduled day of the employee's work week shall become a Non- Scheduled Day.
