VACATING. (a) The NPO shall surrender possession of the Premises on or before the end of the term. Time is of the essence in complying with the preceding sentence.
(b) On vacating the Premises, the NPO shall see that all utilities for which it is responsible are paid in full and disconnected (unless other arrangements are made with the Landlord), that the Premises (including, if applicable, plumbing fixtures, stoves, refrigerators, and sinks) are clean, that the doors and windows are closed and locked, and that all other provisions of this Lease are complied with. So that Landlord may provide security to the Premises after the Premises are vacant and may use the Premises for its purposes, NPO shall notify Landlord in advance of the expected date that the Premises will become vacant and shall also notify Landlord within one working day after the Premises actually become vacant. This subsection "b" applies even if NPO vacates before the end of the term.
(c) If the NPO fails to comply with its obligations under this section, NPO shall be liable for resulting damages suffered by the Landlord, including, if applicable, the inability to use the Premises for the purposes for which the Landlord has provided notice to the NPO, which notice may be given before or during the term.
VACATING. You must vacate the University Housing within 24 hours if you:
A. receive notification that your contract has been cancelled;
B. are no longer a student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison; or
C. have had your last instructional period/exam of the semester. If you are graduating from the University, you may remain in your room until Commencement Day.
VACATING. Upon termination of the Lease, Resident shall completely vacate the Premises, including the removal of all his or her property. No right of storage is given by this Lease, and Landlord has no duty to protect Resident's possessions against loss. In the event Resident's property is not removed, Landlord may dispose of same at its discretion, without any liability to Resident for damage or loss in accordance with applicable Virginia law. Resident shall pay for all costs of removal and/or storage of such property. Any item left behind by Resident not claimed within 10 days of the Lease end date will be disposed of by Landlord in accordance with applicable Virginia law. Before departure, Resident shall turn over to Landlord the Premises, all its fixtures and equipment in good and substantial repair; thoroughly cleaned and in sanitary condition, reasonable wear and tear excepted. Landlord will inspect the Premises, in Resident's presence if requested in writing by Resident, to verify the condition of the Premises and its contents.
VACATING. You must vacate the UWL residence halls within 24 hours if you:
a. Receive notification that your contract has been cancelled.
b. Are no longer a student at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Exemptions to this policy must be approved through the Office of Residence Life. Under no circumstances may you remain in your room later than the last day of the contract term, unless approved by the Office of Residence Life.

VACATING. The resident will vacate their room within twenty-four (24) hours after termination of this agreement, loss of student status, after their final examination of the semester, or according to the occupancy schedule, whichever occurs earliest. The university reserves the right to administratively remove any resident immediately if, in the judgment of the university, a resident’s behavior will have an effect on their own safety or the safety of others. Any resident who does not vacate by the deadline will be charged accordingly and face the disciplinary process.

On vacating the Premises, Tenant shall see that all utilities are paid in full and disconnected (unless other arrangements are made with Landlord), that the Premises (including, if applicable, plumbing fixtures, stoves, refrigerators, and sinks) are clean, that the doors and windows are closed and locked, and that all other provisions of this Lease are complied with. The foregoing provisions of this section apply even if Tenant vacates before the end of the Term. Tenant shall surrender vacant possession of the Premises on or before the end of the Term.
VACATING. Any student who checks out during the contract period should refer to Section 17 for Cancellation Provisions. All such withdrawals must be preapproved by the Residence Life Department. Students withdrawing from the university prior to the end of the semester must vacate his or her unit prior to completing the withdrawal process. When a student changes units or moves out of any facility, all units will be inspected by a Residence Life official for damages and cleanliness, as stated in the checkout policy. Residence hall charges continue until the student is officially checked out by the Residence Life official or other authorized university representative and all keys are returned. Unless the residence hall contract states otherwise, unit charges will be prorated through the official date of checkout. Failure to abide by proper checkout procedures will result in forfeiture of deposit plus any additional charges, including the break contract fee. Students may be required to vacate the facility within 12 hours of their last final exam unless the exam is on the last day of scheduled exams, in which case students must vacate by the date the building closes for the semester.
VACATING. The Resident will vacate his/her room within twenty-four (24) hours after termination of this agreement, loss of student status (graduating, transferring to another school, suspension, and withdrawal), after his/her final examination of the semester, or according to the Schedule of Occupancy.
VACATING. An Occupant must complete the following steps in order to vacate and be freed from this agreement: (1) Remove all locks.
