Vacation for Security Officers a. Vacation allowance for time served as a security officer as of July 1 shall be: Years of Service in the Position Vacation (6 months, less than or equal to 1 year) 5 Days (more than one year, less than or equal to 5 years) 10 Days (more than 5 years, less than or equal to 10 years) 15 Days More than 10 years 1 additional day per year up to a maximum of 25 days Any security officer hired after 7/1/2000 will receive a maximum of twenty (20) vacation days.

  • Vacation Leave Credits for Severance Pay Where the employee requests, the Employer shall grant the employee’s unused vacation leave credits prior to termination of employment if this will enable the employee, for purposes of severance pay, to complete the first (1st) year of continuous employment in the case of lay-off.

  • Determination of Service for Sick Leave with Pay Actual time worked and all leave with pay, except for educational leave, shall be included in determining the pro rata accrual of sick leave credits each month, provided that the employee works thirty-two (32) hours or more in that month.

Those overtime hours exceeding twelve (12) in one day shall be compensated at a rate of pay equal to two times the regular pay of the employee.
