The Academy Will: • Strive to realise the Leading Edge Academies Partnership’s vision, aims and objectives. • Make sure that every learner is valued as an individual and has the opportunity to reach his/her potential. • Strive to achieve high standards of work and behaviour through building good relationships and developing a sense of responsibility. • Strive to keep good discipline, using rewards and sanctions consistently and fairly. • Provide a broad and balanced curriculum, which meets the needs of the individual. • Contact parents if there is a problem with attendance, punctuality or equipment. • Let parents know at an early stage about any concerns or problems that affect their child's work or behaviour. • Set, mark, monitor and evaluate homework. • Arrange Parents' Evenings during which progress will be discussed. • Monitor each individual's learning and achievement, taking appropriate action when necessary. • Welcome parents into academies, and will endeavor to reply to telephone calls within one Academy day. • Keep parents informed about Academy activities through regular correspondence. • Provide a pleasant attractive environment, which is stimulating to the learner, whilst at the same time being safe and secure.
