Common use of Wage Progression Clause in Contracts

Wage Progression. 12.01 Employees regularly scheduled to work seventy-five (75) hours bi-weekly within their position classification will progress from the “start rate” to the “one year rate” and so on, on the basis of 1,800 hours worked including probationary hours worked. Employees regularly scheduled less than seventy-five (75) hours bi-weekly will progress on the basis of 1,800 hours worked including probationary hours worked. Hours worked and paid for by the Employer, hours not worked and paid for by the Employer and hours paid by the Workers’ Compensation Board, shall be considered hours worked for the purpose of computing eligibility to progress to the next higher rate within the position classification.
