Common use of Wedding Leave Clause in Contracts

Wedding Leave. (a) The Employer shall grant an employee 3 consecutive working days to a maximum of 22.5 hours off without loss of regular pay during the week immediately prior to or following her marriage subject to five (5) weeks written notice in advance.

Wedding Leave. (a) The Employer shall grant an a full-time / part-time employee 3 three (3) consecutive working days to a maximum of 22.5 hours off without loss of regular with pay during the week immediately prior to or following her marriage or thereafter, subject to five advance written notice. The three (53) weeks written notice in advanceworking days leave with pay may be added to any period of annual leave or may be taken separately at the Employee's option by no later than the subsequent year or it will be lost.

The Employer proposes to withdraw its proposal Article 16.12 and maintain status quo.
