Call Back/Call In. 9.1 The Employer retains the right to call in or call back employees before an employee has started a normal work day or normal work week and after an employee has completed a normal work day or normal work week.

Call Back/Call In. (a) Any employee who has completed his/her scheduled shift and has left the premises and is called back to work in an emergency shall be paid a minimum of three (3) hours at the appropriate overtime rate of pay as per article 15.01. This shall not apply to weekend school checks or overtime where advance notice is given.

Where call back is immediately prior to the commencement of their regular shift the call back will only apply to the point of commencement of a regular shift at the rate of time and one-half after which they shall revert back to the regular shift.
