Call Back/Call In. ‌ 14.6.1 The County shall provide for the following: 14.6.1.1 Those employees who are called back by management after a work shift ends, and actually report for duty, shall be paid or earn compensating time off at the rate of time and one-half with a minimum of two hours paid time for each occurrence. This section does not apply to the extension of a work shift when an employee is given notice of the extension within a reasonable time before the regular shift ends. 14.6.1.2 If an employee, who was called back to work and has completed his/her assignment and left work, is again called back to work, he/she will not receive another minimum if the time of return is within the previous two hour minimum.
Call Back/Call In. 9.1 The Employer retains the right to call back/call in employees before an employee has started a normal work day or normal work week and after an employee has completed a normal work day or normal work week. 9.2 Employees called in or called back shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours straight time pay at the basic hourly rate or shall be compensated in accordance with Article 8 (OVERTIME), when applicable, whichever is greater. 9.2(1) Notwithstanding Article 9.2, employees called in four (4) hours or less prior to their normal work day shall complete the normal work day and be compensated only for overtime hours worked in accordance with Article 8 (OVERTIME).

This shall not apply to weekend school checks or overtime where advance notice is given. (b) A call back between the hours of midnight and 6:00 a.m. will be paid a minimum of four (4) hours pay at the appropriate overtime rate of pay as per article 15.01.
Call Back/Call In. Full-Time and Part-Time (a) Where employees are called back to work after having completed a regular shift, and prior to the commencement of their next regular shift, they shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours of work or four (4) hours pay at the rate of time and one-half their regular earnings. Where call back is immediately prior to the commencement of their regular shift, the call back pay will only apply to the point of commencement of a regular shift at the rate of time and one-half after which they shall revert back to the regular shift. (b) Call back pay shall cover all calls within the minimum four (4) hour period provided for under (a). If a second call takes place after four (4) hours have elapsed from the time of the first call, it shall be subject to a second call back premium, but in no case shall an employee collect two call back premiums within one such four (4) hour period, and to the extent that call back overlaps and extends into the hours of his regular shift, (a) shall apply. (c) Notwithstanding the foregoing an employee who has worked his full shift on a holiday and is called back shall receive the greater of 2 1/2 times his regular straight time hourly rate for all hours actually worked on such call-back or four (4) hours pay at time and one-half his straight time hourly rate, subject to the other provisions set out above.
Call Back/Call In. The District shall attempt to apply the provisions of this section 1397 to employees who volunteer to be subject to call back or call in. 1398 In the event of an emergency, employees who have not agreed 1399 to volunteer may be obligated to report to work pursuant to 1400 these provisions. 1401 18.3.2 A full-time employee called back to work after completion of the 1402 employee’s regular assignment shall be compensated for a 1403 minimum of two (2) hours of work at the overtime rate. Part- 1404 time employees called back to work after completion of the 1405 employee’s regular assignment shall be compensated for a 1406 minimum of two (2) hours of work at the employee’s appropriate 1407 rate of pay. Any employee who reports to work in a condition 1408 which makes the employee unfit to perform the assigned duties 1409 shall not be entitled to Call In Time Pay.
Call Back/Call In. An employee who is called in or reports for work as scheduled, where there is no work available, and or accepts a request to work on a scheduled day off, shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours pay, it being understood that such employee may be assigned to work elsewhere in the LHIN during such four (4) hour period. Such reassignment will be within reasonable proximity of the employee’s office.

Call Back/Call In. An employee called back to work shall be paid for a minimum of two (2) hours pay, or pay for the hours actually worked, whichever is greater, provided the call-back / call-in is not annexed to the employee’s regular work hours, in which case he/she shall be paid for the additional hours worked.
