Week Rotation a. A normal shift shall be twelve (12) hours and an average of forty (40) hours shall constitute a week’s work. The starting time of the day shift shall be arranged between 06:00 and 08:00, night shift from 18:00 and 20:00. The Monday night shift will be considered the start of the schedule/shift rotation. Employees working the five (5) week rotation will work one (1) week of a Balancing week shift. The intent of this period is to balance the employees additional hours worked through schedule/shift rotation to zero (0) or as stated in c. below.

Week Rotation. ‌ The parties agree to move to a six (6) week rotation from the existing five (5) week rotation. All Engineers will be required to participate in the daily maintenance of the plant and to provide relief duties as required on a rotating basis. Such maintenance duties will normally be scheduled for each Second Class Engineer over three (3) consecutive weekday shifts (12 hours per day) twice in every six (6) week rotating schedule.

  • Shift Rotation Routine shift rotation is not an approach to staffing endorsed by the Employer. Except for emergency situations where it may be necessary to provide safe patient care, shift rotation will not be utilized without mutual consent. If such an occasion should ever occur, volunteers will be sought first. If no one volunteers, the Employer will rotate shifts on an inverse seniority basis until the staff vacancies are filled.

  • Rotation Where the Employer's designate and the Union's designate at the local level agree that shifts be rotated, the shifts shall be rotated on an equitable basis among the employees involved.

  • Workday/Workweek A. The normal workweek for each full-time employee shall be forty (40) hours.

  • Check Meters Developer, at its option and expense, may install and operate, on its premises and on its side of the Point of Interconnection, one or more check meters to check Connecting Transmission Owner’s meters. Such check meters shall be for check purposes only and shall not be used for the measurement of power flows for purposes of this Agreement, except as provided in Article 7.4 below. The check meters shall be subject at all reasonable times to inspection and examination by Connecting Transmission Owner or its designee. The installation, operation and maintenance thereof shall be performed entirely by Developer in accordance with Good Utility Practice.

  • Shiftwork 28.1 In this clause Shiftwork means work comprising recurring periods in which different groups of workers do the same jobs in rotation.

  • Standard Workweek Except as noted below the standard workweek for full-time employees consists of five (5) consecutive eight (8) hour days, Monday through Friday each week. Non-overtime hours and starting and quitting times for such employees shall be the same throughout the standard workweek. The standard workweek does not apply to the following:
