Weekend Shift Premium. An employee shall be paid a weekend premium of fifty cents ($0.50) per hour for each hour worked between 2300 hours Friday and 2300 hours Sunday. Weekend premium will not form part of the employee’s straight time hourly rate.

Weekend premium is paid for each hour worked between 2300 hours 11:00 P.M. Friday and 2300 hours 11:00 P.M. Sunday except for those beginning work at midnight, who shall be paid the premium for each hour worked between midnight Friday and midnight Sunday. Weekend premium will not form part of the employee’s straight time hourly rate.
