WFSE Council President and Vice. President (if employed by the Employer) Leave of Absence Upon request of the Union, the Employer will grant leave with pay for the WFSE Council President and Vice-President for the term of their office. The Union will give the Employer at least thirty (30) calendar days prior notice, unless otherwise agreed. The Union will reimburse the Employer for the “fully burdened costs of the positions” the Employer incurs as a result of placing the Council President and Vice-President on leave with pay during the period of absence. The Union will reimburse the Employer by the 20th of each month for the previous month. Leave Balances The President and Vice-President will accrue vacation and sick leave during the period of absence; however, when the President and Vice President return to state service their leave balances will not exceed their leave balances on the date the period of absence commenced. If the President or Vice-President retire or separate from state service at the end of the period of absence, their leave balances will not exceed their leave balances on the date the period of absence commenced. Reporting of leave will be submitted to the Employer. All leave requests will be submitted within the required time limits.

  • President Unless the Trustees otherwise provide, the President shall preside at all meetings of the shareholders and of the Trustees. Unless the Trustees otherwise provide, the President shall be the chief executive officer.

  • Vice President In the absence of the President or in the event of the President’s inability to act, the Vice President, if any (or in the event there be more than one Vice President, the Vice Presidents in the order designated by the Directors, or in the absence of any designation, then in the order of their election), shall perform the duties of the President, and when so acting, shall have all the powers of and be subject to all the restrictions upon the President. The Vice Presidents, if any, shall perform such other duties and have such other powers as the Board may from time to time prescribe.

  • Chairman and Secretary The Local Union shall select the Union representatives and the Chapter shall select the management representatives.
