Witness Leave. In the event an employee is subpoenaed to appear as a witness on behalf of the Employer in a case where the Employer is involved, or is subpoenaed to appear as a witness, except to represent oneself or appear at an arbitration, such employee shall be paid eight (8) hours or ten (10) hours consistent with Section 9.01 at the regular straight time hourly rate for each day the employee is required to so appear. This amount shall be reduced by any witness fees to which the employee may be entitled.
