Work Day and Shift. (a) All employees in the patrol division shall normally work an eight and one-half (8-1/2) hour shift. For payroll purposes, base hours will be eighty (80) hours in each fourteen (14) day cycle.
Work Day and Shift. Employees in Unit III (other than Telecommunicators) are presently scheduled to work 7.5 hour shifts and 140 hours in each 28 day cycle. Related to Work Day and Shift

  • Work Day and Work Week (A) The normal hours of work for all full-time employees shall be thirty-five (35) hours per week, or seventy (70) hours per two consecutive weeks. All employees are entitled to thirty-two (32) consecutive hours free from work each week, unless overtime rates are paid, as per Article 29.02.

  • Work Day/Work Week 1. The work week shall consist of five (5) consecutive days Monday through Friday of no more than eight (8) hours per day and no more than forty (40) hours per work week. This shall not restrict the extension of the employee’s usual and customary workday or workweek when such is necessary to carry on the business of the School District.   • Five Day Work Week Schedule When working under the five (5) day work week schedule, Employees shall receive one and one-half (1.5x) times their regular rate of pay for the first two (2) hours of overtime Monday through Friday. All other overtime Monday through Friday shall be paid at double time (2x).

  • Work Shift The hours an employee is scheduled to work each workday in a workweek.

  • Second Shift The second shift shall be seven and one-half (7½) hours of continuous employment, except for lunch period at mid-shift, and shall be paid eight (8) hours at the straight time hourly wage rate.
