Work Day and Shift. (a) All employees in the patrol division shall normally work an eight and one-half (8-1/2) hour shift. For payroll purposes, base hours will be eighty (80) hours in each fourteen (14) day cycle. Work Day and Shift. Employees in Unit III (other than Telecommunicators) are presently scheduled to work 7.5 hour shifts and 140 hours in each 28 day cycle. Telecommunicators covered by this Agreement shall work the schedule commonly referred to as 5- 2/5-3 work schedule.   • Work Day and Work Week The normal work day shall consist of up to 8 hours of work within a 24-hour period. The normal work week shall consist of up to 40 hours of work within a 7-day period. The Employer may define the work week on an individual, department, shift or facility basis in accordance with Federal and State law.

  • Work Shifts Employees shall be scheduled to work on regular work shifts having regular starting and quitting times.   • Work Shift The hours an employee is scheduled to work each workday in a workweek.

  • Day Shift The standard work day will consist of eight (8) hours worked between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. with a designated thirty (30) minute lunch period. Starting and stopping times to be determined by mutual agreement between the Company and the shop employees.

  • Hour Shifts When the Employer deems it necessary to implement a twelve (12) hour work day, affected employees shall be notified pursuant to Clause 14.05. The following Clauses shall be replaced or added to the Collective Agreement where appropriate.
