Ook bij deze nieuwe voorschriften wordt (versterken van) “vertrouwen” uitdruk- kelijk als doelstelling genoemd.31 Thans is een derde “golf” zichtbaar. Ook bij recente initiatieven voor (Europese) wetgeving, waarbij voorschriften xxxxxx voorgesteld die een minder directe relatie hebben met de financiële crisis (en voorkoming van nieuwe crises), is het bijdragen aan vertrouwen uitdrukkelijk als één van de doelstellingen van die voorschriften genoemd.
