Early Intervention Services (EIS) In accordance with Rhode Island General Law §27-20-50, this agreement provides coverage for Early Intervention Service. Early Intervention Services are educational, developmental, health, and social services provided to children from birth to thirty-six (36) months. The children must have been certified by the Rhode Island Department of Human Services to enroll in an approved Early Intervention Services program. Services must be provided by a licensed Early Intervention provider and rendered to a Rhode Island resident. We cover Early Intervention Services as defined by the Rhode Island Department of Human Services including, but not limited to, the following: • speech and language therapy; • physical and occupational therapy; • evaluation; • case management; • nutrition; • service plan development and review; • nursing services; and • assistive technology services and devices. Reaching Agreement When agreement is reached covering the areas under discussion, the proposed Agreement shall be reduced in writing as a memorandum of understanding and signed by a representative of each negotiating team. Agreement on individual items during the negotiations is binding only when all items are agreed upon. Procedures for ratification of the Agreement by the Association and the Board shall be completed within ten (10) school days after the conclusion of negotiations.
Performance Rights The Licensor here by grants to Licensee a non-exclusive license to use the Master Recording in Unlimited non-profit performances, shows, or concerts. Licensee may receive compensation from performances with this license.
Performance Schedule The Parties will perform their respective responsibilities in accordance with the Performance Schedule. By executing this Agreement, Customer authorizes Motorola to proceed with contract performance.
CONDITIONS FOR EMERGENCY/HURRICANE OR DISASTER - TERM CONTRACTS It is hereby made a part of this Invitation for Bids that before, during and after a public emergency, disaster, hurricane, flood, or other acts of God that Orange County shall require a “first priority” basis for goods and services. It is vital and imperative that the majority of citizens are protected from any emergency situation which threatens public health and safety, as determined by the County. Contractor agrees to rent/sell/lease all goods and services to the County or other governmental entities as opposed to a private citizen, on a first priority basis. The County expects to pay contractual prices for all goods or services required during an emergency situation. Contractor shall furnish a twenty-four (24) hour phone number in the event of such an emergency.
PREVAILING WAGE RATES - PUBLIC WORKS AND BUILDING SERVICES CONTRACTS If any portion of work being Bid is subject to the prevailing wage rate provisions of the Labor Law, the following shall apply:
Client Rights The Employer and the Union are committed to quality care of clients. It is the right of clients, in the privacy of their home, to choose the employee with whom they feel the most comfortable. The Employer support client rights. If a client wishes to change employees, for any reason, the Employer will respect the right of the client to do so. If a client chooses to change employees, the employee who is being unscheduled shall be eligible for another client(s) or equivalent hours as available. The Employer will make a good faith effort to provide support for a successful employee/client relationship(s). At the discretion of the parties, the Employer and the Union may explore through the Labor Management Committee methods of coaching, counseling or mediation to assist in the resolution of client/worker conflicts to help ensure consistent service delivery with minimal worker reassignment.
Teaching Assignments No employee shall be assigned to teach in a grade level and/or subject area not within the scope of his/her teaching certificate, except where a position within his/her certification is unavailable or when mutually agreed to by the affected employee and principal, or when determined necessary by the principal. Employees assigned to positions outside the scope of their certificates shall be assigned as soon as possible to positions for which they hold certification.
