Part-time academics teaching two or more courses, and part-time professionals and academics with an obligation other than teaching whose obligation is at least 20 hours per week, are eligible after 26 weeks of employment. Part-time academics teaching less than two courses, and part-time professionals and academics with an obligation other than teaching whose professional obligation is less than 20 hours per week, are eligible after completing 175 workdays of employment. • Unpaid leave under the federal Family and Medical Leave Act (used concurrently with use of sick leave accruals for paid time off). • Up to seven months of unpaid child-care leave. • UUP’s Family Leave Guide provides more detailed information about family leave options. Examples of Additional Sick Leave in a sentence

  • At the beginning of each fiscal year, the Board of Education shall contribute 10 sick leave days to a pool of Emergency Additional Sick Leave days (ESL days) to be available to members of the bargaining unit (teacher).

  • Any full-time or part-time teacher, including a teacher engaged on a temporary basis, shall be entitled to fifteen (15) days paid Additional Sick Leave, or the applicable pro-rata thereof.

  • The Personal Leave or Additional Sick Leave entitlement of a part-time teacher shall be determined by multiplying the relevant annual entitlement for a full time teacher with the same period of service by the teacher’s load.

  • A teacher shall not be entitled to Personal Leave or Additional Sick Leave for any period in respect of which such teacher is entitled to workers' compensation.

  • If leave required for 24 maternity disability exceeds earned sick leave, additional sick leave may be taken as defined in 25 Section 4: Additional Sick Leave.

  • In the case where any such requirements relative to a particular UND SMHS residency program are not specific, the allowable combined total of Vacation Leave, Sick Leave, and any Additional Sick Leave taken during the contract year shall be 1 month (30 days).

  • Additional Sick Leave shall not exceed the projected annual sick leave accrual of the Member.

  • The Director of Human Resources, will submit the Application for Additional Sick Leave for the authorization of the Chief Executive of the unit.

  • The Additional Sick Leave Reserve provides an additional sick leave accumulation for an administrative and teaching employee who has been diagnosed and certificated with a terminal health condition with a life expectancy of six (6) months to one (1) year.

  • The maximum duration requirements of the ETCS border crossing procedures within the ENRS and the ENRC are defined within subset 093.

Related to Additional Sick Leave

  • Current Sick Leave means those days of sick leave for the current contract year, which leave is granted at the rate of one day of sick leave per month worked, or major part thereof.

  • Mental Sickness means any emotional, behavioral, psychological, personality, adjustment, mood or stress- related abnormality, disorder, disturbance, dysfunction or syndrome; regardless of its cause. It includes, but is not limited to:

  • Paid sick leave – means paid leave under the Emergency Paid Sick Leave Act.

  • Additional SDU Study means a deliverability study that a Developer may elect to pursue as that term is defined in OATT Section 25 (OATT Attachment S). For purposes of Section 23.4.5 of this Attachment H, “Affiliated Entity” shall mean, with respect to a person or Entity:

  • income-related employment and support allowance means an income-related allowance under Part 1 of the Welfare Reform Act 2007;

  • Multiple Bill/Single Tariff means the billing method used when Switched Exchange Access Services is jointly provided by the Parties. As described in the MECAB document, each Party will render a bill in accordance with its own tariff for that portion of the service it provides. Each Party will bill its own network access service rates.

  • Additional Special Servicing Compensation As defined in Section 3.11(d).

  • Non-Administrator Skilled Nursing Facility means a Skilled Nursing Facility which does not have an agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan but has been certified in accordance with guidelines established by Medicare.

  • Term SOFR Adjustment means a percentage equal to 0.10% per annum.

  • Additional Benefits means those benefits in addition to the rights and remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.

The Principal Investigator plays a lead role in ensuring that management and use of controlled-access data remains consistent with the terms in the Data Use Certification Agreement. To be able to submit a DAR, a Principal Investigator must be designated as such by their institution in eRA Commons and be a permanent employee of their institution at a level equivalent to a tenure-track professor or senior scientist with responsibilities that most likely include laboratory administration and oversight.

  • Fringe benefits means the amount of:

  • Additional Service means any Services/Deliverables within the scope of the Contract, but not specifically provided under any Statement of Work, that once added will result in the need to provide the Contractor with additional consideration.
