Bargaining Unit Faculty definition

Bargaining Unit Faculty means the employees, collectively, covered by Article II. "Bargaining Unit Faculty Member" means an individual bargaining unit member as defined in Article II. (References in the contract to "faculty members" shall mean bargaining unit faculty members.)
Bargaining Unit Faculty and “Members of the Bargaining Unit” and “Members” wherever used in this Agreement without further qualification are defined to include all TET and NTE faculty members who are included in the Bargaining Unit pursuant to Section 2.3. As necessary, the TET Bargaining Unit Faculty and the NTE Bargaining Unit Faculty are herein distinguished from one another, by referring to them as either "NTE Bargaining Unit Faculty" or "TET Bargaining Unit Faculty."
Bargaining Unit Faculty and “Members of the Bargaining Unit” and “Members” wherever used in this Agreement are defined to include only those faculty members who are included in the Bargaining Unit pursuant to Section 2.

  • Before a formal hearing is conducted the University President or designee shall call a meeting with the charging party, the accused Bargaining Unit Faculty Member, and a representative of the AAUP-WSU.

Bargaining Unit Faculty will mean all non- tenure track faculty employed by the College where the Bargaining Unit Faculty member is the instructor of record for matriculating students for credit-bearing courses at the College. This definition shall include all positions formerly known as full-time and part-time adjuncts, adjunct professors, adjunct assistant professors, adjunct associate professors, adjunct instructors, lecturers, and visiting assistant professors employed by the College at its locations in California and in its LEAP and online programs. This definition shall exclude tenured and tenured-track faculty, executive assistants, managers, assistant managers, independent contractors, administrators, graduate students, other employees who do not teach undergraduate or graduate credit-bearing courses or laboratories for matriculating students, guards, and supervisors as defined in the National Labor Relations Act. Also included in the bargaining unit will be any Bargaining Unit Faculty positions at the College’s locations in California and in its LEAP and online programs created during the term of this contract where the Bargaining Unit Faculty member is the instructor of record for matriculating students for credit-bearing courses at the College.

  • Bargaining Unit means the unit of Employees as described on the Labour Relations Board Certificate.

  • Child welfare agency means a child-placing agency, child-caring institution or independent foster
