City Work definition

City Work means the City’s plan, design and construction of the Parkway Improvements associated with the Road Project.
City Work means the work required on, in or to any City-owned Structure and/or Infrastructure to accommodate Licensee’s Wireless Installation, including relocating, replacing, upgrading and/or reinforcing the existing Structure or Infrastructure.
City Work means the same as that term is defined in Section 13.3 (Rearrangement and Relocation for City Work).

  • Consultant shall verify all subconsultants intended and/or used by the Consultant for performance of City Work are in good standing and are not debarred, suspended or otherwise ineligible by the Federal Government.

  • The provisions of this section shall govern in all cases where private or non-City government utility property interferes with or may be disturbed by the City Work, notwithstanding any other provisions of the Contract.

  • The Respondent shall neither commence any Work, nor enter a City Work premise, until a written Notice to Award (“NTA”) and Purchase Order is issued by the City to Respondent directing the commencement of Work.

More Definitions of City Work

City Work has the meaning as set out in Section E13.1 of the Design Build Agreement;
City Work means that work that is the responsibility of the City to complete as a future capital improvement project. The complete definition of City Work is included herein and any item of work not explicitly included in the following City Work list shall be assumed to be Developer Work:  Roadway/Corridor Improvements: o Final grading of roadway corridor within the Phase 2 Area o Subgrade preparation; all lifts of asphalt paving; construction of concrete curb and gutter, bioswale, landscaped snow storage area, concrete sidewalk, and asphalt shared use path within Phase 2 Area o Construction of retaining walls within the Phase 2 Area o Construct illumination within the Phase 2 Area  Stormwater: o Design and construction of gutter-line stormwater catch basins within the Phase 2 Area o Ring and cover elevation adjustment to final roadway grade of stormwater manholes and catch basins constructed as part of Developer Work.  Sanitary Sewer: o Construction of all sanitary sewer mains, manholes, and associated appurtenances within Phase 1 Area. o Construction of sanitary sewer mains, manholes, and associated appurtenances up within the Phase 2 Area that are not included in the Developer Work.  Domestic Water:
City Work means all portions of the Work related to the design and construction of upgrades and improvements to City infrastructure, as described in paragraph 2.1 and as identified in Appendix A and in the Design;

Related to City Work

  • New Work means any Services/Deliverables outside the scope of the Contract and not specifically provided under any Statement of Work, that once added will result in the need to provide the Contractor with additional consideration.

  • DAY WORK means on item of work requiring the employment of labour with or without materials as the case may be, which, in the opinion of the Senior Engineer /Civil-in-charge, is not capable of being evaluated by the accepted methods of measurement or assessment and is paid for on the basis of the actual labour and materials utilised on the particular item of work referred to.

  • Project Work means the work required to complete the Project.

  • Tenant Improvement Work means the construction of the Tenant Improvements, together with any related work (including demolition) that is necessary to construct the Tenant Improvements.

  • Tenant’s Work means all improvements, alterations, fixture, equipment, and signage installation, and furniture placement necessary or appropriate for the conduct of the Permitted Use, including all work described as Tenant’s Work on Exhibit D, attached (the “Work Letter”).

  • Tenant Improvements Defined in Exhibit B, if any.

  • Shift Work is defined as the same work performed by two or more employees or two or more successive sets or groups of employees working successive periods.

  • Installation Work means the construction and installation of the System and the Start-up, testing and acceptance (but not the operation and maintenance) thereof; all performed by or for the Power Producer at the Premises.

  • Hot Work means work involving electric or gas welding, cutting, brazing, or similar flame or spark-producing operations.

  • Make-Ready Work means all work performed or to be performed to prepare AT&T-22STATE’s Conduit Systems, Poles or Anchors and related Facilities for the requested occupancy or attachment of CLEC’s Facilities. Make-Ready Work includes, but is not limited to, clearing obstructions (e.g., by rodding Ducts to ensure clear passage), the rearrangement, transfer, replacement, and removal of existing Facilities on a Pole or in a Conduit System where such work is required solely to accommodate CLEC’s Facilities and not to meet AT&T-22STATE’s business needs or convenience. Make-Ready Work may require “dig ups” of existing Facilities and may include the repair, enlargement or modification of AT&T-22STATE’s Facilities (including, but not limited to, Conduits, Ducts, Handholes and Manholes) or the performance of other work required to make a Pole, Anchor, Conduit or Duct usable for the initial placement of CLEC’s Facilities.

  • Building Work has the meaning given to it in section 6 of the Building and Construction Industry (Improving Productivity) Act 2016 (Cth);

  • job work means any treatment or process undertaken by a person on goods belonging to another registered person and the expression “job worker” shall be construed accordingly;
