Construction Observer definition

Construction Observer means the company or individual identified above. Construction Observer may employ for the Services rendered, engineers, architects, landscape architects, and surveyors licensed by the Kansas State Board of Technical Professions.
Construction Observer or the “Observer” shall mean the County’s employee or a contracted consultant who performs construction engineering and inspection services for the Project.
Construction Observer. An authorized representative of CONSULTANT, if any, or otherwise a representative of OWNER assigned to observe the Work performed and materials furnished by CONTRACTOR. CONTRACTOR will be notified in writing of the identity of this representative. Contract Documents: The Contract Documents include the Contract between OWNER and CONTRACTOR, other documents listed in the Contract and modifications issued after execution of the Contract as well as all Bid Documents including but not limited to the solicitation for Bid, CONTRACTOR’S Bid, the Bonds, Insurance endorsements, Insurance Certificates and policies, the Notice of Award, the Notice to Proceed, the General Conditions, Special Conditions, if any, any Supplementary Conditions, the Technical Specifications, Drawings, including any incorporated specifications, addenda to the drawings issued prior to execution of the Contract, Change Orders, Construction Change Directives and any written order for a minor change in the Work, and written modifications to any of the Contract Documents.

  • For purposes of this Agreement, Construction Observer hereby agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the City, its employees and agents from any and all Loss where Loss is caused or incurred or alleged to be caused or incurred in whole or in part as a result of the negligence or other actionable fault of the Construction Observer, its affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, agents and subcontractors/assignees and their respective servants, agents and employees.

  • Construction material means an article, material, or supply brought to the construction site by the Contractor or a subcontractor for incorporation into the building or work. The term also includes an item brought to the site preassembled from articles, materials, or supplies. However, emergency life safety systems, such as emergency lighting, fire alarm, and audio evacuation systems, that are discrete systems incorporated into a public building or work and that are produced as complete systems, are evaluated as a single and distinct construction material regardless of when or how the individual parts or components of those systems are delivered to the construction site. Materials purchased directly by the Government are supplies, not construction material.

  • Interconnection Construction Service Agreement means the agreement entered into by an Interconnection Customer, Interconnected Transmission Owner and the Transmission Provider pursuant to Tariff, Part VI, Subpart B and in the form set forth in Tariff, Attachment P, relating to construction of Attachment Facilities, Network Upgrades, and/or Local Upgrades and coordination of the construction and interconnection of an associated Customer Facility. A separate Interconnection Construction Service Agreement will be executed with each Transmission Owner that is responsible for construction of any Attachment Facilities, Network Upgrades, or Local Upgrades associated with interconnection of a Customer Facility. Interconnection Customer:

  • Structural alteration means an Alteration that (i) will result in a change in the footprint of the Improvements, (ii) involves the addition of one or more floors to the Improvements, (iii) affects the structural elements or any exterior walls of the Improvements, (iv) decreases the rentable square footage of the Leased Premises other than to a de minimis extent or (v) adversely affects the proper functioning and/or capacity of the building systems in the Improvements.

  • Building Inspector means a person licensed to carry out completed residential building inspections under the Queensland Building and Construction Commission Regulations 2003;
