Prevailing wages means the sum of the following:
Prevailing wages means the wages paid in the town of Friday Harbor for all workers on the project who are employed in the trades listed at http://www.lni.wa.gov/TradesLicensing/PrevWage/WageRates/defaul t.asp. Contractors must be told in advance that prevailing wages must be paid to all employees who work on the contract. It is the contractor’s responsibility to file a Statement of Intent to Pay Prevailing Wages with the Industrial Statistician of the Department of Labor and Industrial Services. The contractor must also provide the District with certified weekly payrolls covering every person who works on the project site from every contractor and subcontractor of any tier for the duration of the contract.
Prevailing wages. This contract is subject to prevailing wages according to RCW 39.12.020. Contractor shall file an Intent to Pay Prevailing Wage form and Affidavit of Wages Paid form with L&I and pay for all fees associated with filing the forms. Contractor shall submit the Intent and Affidavit forms, approved by L&I, to the City with payment request. No payment will be issued to the Contractor until the City receives both approved forms. If any work is subcontracted on this project, an approved Intent and Affidavit form must be submitted for each sub-contractor. If progress payments are made on this project, an approved Intent form must be received prior to issuing the first payment. An approved Affidavit form must be received prior to issuing final payment.

Seller shall (i) pay Prevailing Wages in connection with the construction, maintenance, and operation of each Project Site and (ii) comply with all provisions of California law applicable to public contracting, including, but not limited to bond requirements.

More Definitions of Prevailing wages
Prevailing wages means those wages included in the Prevailing Wage Order issued by the State of Missouri that is included as an Exhibit J-1 to the Contract.

Prevailing wages means Owner must pay all construction workers equal to or greater than the wage rate adopted by Nueces County as meeting applicable federal and state law establishing those rates for public works projects.
