Leave to be taken. The annual leave provided for by this clause shall be allowed and shall be taken, and except as provided in s3.4.6 and s3.3.29 hereof payment shall not be made or accepted in lieu of annual leave.
Leave to be taken. 30.3.1. The annual leave provided for in this clause shall be allowed and shall be taken and except as provided by 30.6, payment shall not be made or accepted in lieu of annual leave.
30.3.2. The payment of wages during annual leave shall normally be in accordance with the usual pay cycle, provided that an employee may request that payment be made on the commencement of the leave.

Leave to be taken. 53.4.1 The annual leave provided for by this clause shall be allowed and shall be taken and, except as provided by clauses 53.7 and 53.13, payment shall not be made or accepted in lieu of annual leave.
53.4.2 Annual leave shall be given at a time determined by mutual agreement between the Employer and the employee within a period not exceeding six months from the date when the right to annual leave accrued and after not less than two weeks’ notice to the employee. Provided that in order to assist employees in balancing their work and family responsibilities, an employee may elect, with the consent of the Employer, to accrue and carry forward any amount of annual leave for a maximum of two years from the date of entitlement
Leave to be taken. Annual leave shall be taken, at a time mutually agreed upon by the employer and employee, and in the absence of agreement annual leave shall be given at a time fixed by the employer, within a period not exceeding 6 months from the date when the right to annual leave accrued and after not less than 2 weeks' notice to the employee.
Leave to be taken. The annual leave provided by this clause shall be allowed and shall be taken. Payment shall not be made or accepted in lieu of annual leave except on termination of employment.
Leave to be taken. Annual leave shall be given and taken in such period or periods and at such a time or at such times in accord with the Authority‟s Policy which requires that leave is taken in the year that it is due unless otherwise agreed with Management. If annual leave is not taken in one period of four weeks, it may be taken in two or more periods, one of which shall be a minimum of one week. Where it is agreed, the employee may take leave for periods of less than one week. Annual leave shall be approved in accordance with the provisions of this clause to be taken at times which are convenient to the needs of the Authority but as far as is practicable the wishes of the employee shall be considered when fixing the time for taking of leave. Where the employee has been refused an application for leave on these grounds an alternative time for the taking of leave shall be agreed between the Authority and the employee, and such agreed alternative time shall not be changed, except at the request of the employee. The employer may approve the taking of annual leave or any part thereof being deferred up to a period of two years. Where a dispute arises as to the period or time of taking annual leave, such dispute may be determined in accordance with Clause 48 Prevention and Settlement of Disputes.

Annual leave shall be taken at a time determined by mutual agreement between the employer and the employee within a period not exceeding two years from the date of accrual; provided that such annual leave may be deferred by mutual agreement in writing between the employer and employee in exceptional circumstances. Fixed-term employees may reasonably be required to take annual leave during the term of their fixed term employment. Payment shall not be made or accepted in lieu of the annual leave provisions outlined in this clause. The YWCA Canberra recommends that each employee take a minimum of 2 continous weeks of annual leave in each calendar year to ensure appropriate opportunity for rest and recreation and to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Leave to be taken. 20.4.1 The annual leave provided for in this clause must be allowed and must be taken as leave, and payment must not be made or accepted in lieu of annual leave.
20.4.2 Notwithstanding the provisions of this clause, an employee may elect, with the consent of the employer, to take annual leave in single periods not exceeding 10 days in any calendar year at a time or times agreed between them.
