Social Assessment definition

Social Assessment means in respect to a mining project, the process of undertaking a Social Impact Assessment in accordance with the Act, the Mines and Minerals Act, 2009 and these Regulations;
Social Assessment means an analysis of target population and social risks carried out for each eligible Sub-project in accordance with the provisions of the Safeguard Policies; and
Social Assessment means an assessment to understand the relative vulnerabilities of the affected Vulnerable and Marginalized Groups and how the Project may affect them.

More Definitions of Social Assessment

Social Assessment means the Recipient’s social assessment, satisfactory to the Bank, referred in Section 2.01 to be carried out under Part 4 (a) of the Project, identifying the social impacts of carrying out the Investment Project.
Social Assessment means the social assessment, to be conducted by MoTC prior to the commencement of the works under Part A.3 of the Project, to review the distribution of benefits accruing from the activities under Part A.3 of the Project, including but not limited to social equity, opportunity for temporary labor, economic return on the investment, the perception of fairness and the possibility for the promotion of social reconciliation.

Social Assessment means the Recipient’s Evaluación Social para la Preparación del Proyecto de Integración de Protección Social del Programa Presidencial de Transferencias Monetarias Condicionadas: “Bono Vida Mejor” published on the Recipient’s territory on February 28, 2019 and on the Association’s website on February 28, 2019, acceptable to the Association, as said assessment may be amended from time to time by agreement between the Recipient and the Association.
Social Assessment means the report of the social assessment conducted by the Recipient to identify social impacts of the Project, dated July 10, 2007.
