Vesting Year of Service means any Plan Year during which the Employee is credited with at least one thousand (1,000) Hours of Service. Vesting Years of Service shall include all Years of Service prior to this restatement for which such Employee received a Year of Service for vesting purposes under the terms of the Prior Plan or under the terms of either the METAL IMPROVEMENT COMPANY, INC. RETIREMENT INCOME PLAN or the CURTISS-WRIGHT FLIGHT SYS TEMS/SHELBY, INC. CONTRIBUTORY RETIREMENT PLAN. If the Company maintains the Plan of a predecessor Employer, Service with such Employer will be treated as Service for the Company.

Vesting Year of Service means an Employee's Years of Service including: (a) Years of Service with an Affiliated Employer; (b) active service with the Armed Forces of the United States if the Employee entered or enters active service or training in such Armed Forces directly from the employ of an Employing Company and after discharge or release therefrom returns within ninety (90) days to the employ of an Affiliated Employer or is deemed to return under Section 2.3 because of the death of such Employee while in active service with such Armed Forces; and (c) any period during which the Employee was on any other form of authorized leave of absence. For purposes of this Section 1.41 in determining Vesting Years of Service with respect to a period of absence referred to in clause (b) or (c) of this Section 1.41, an Employee shall be credited with Hours of Service as though the period of absence were a period of active employment with the Affiliated Employer.

Vesting Year of Service means a vesting computation period during which the employee completes at least 1,000 hours of service with the employer. All of an employee's years of service with the employer shall be counted to determine the nonforfeitable percentage in the employee's account balance derived from employer contributions, except:

Examples of Vesting Year of Service in a sentence

In computing such prior service, an Employee who is credited with at least one Hour of Service prior to July 1 of a calendar year shall receive one full Vesting Year of Service for that calendar year; otherwise no credit shall be credited for that calendar year.
For purposes of computing an Employee's nonforfeitable percentage (i.e., his vested interest) in his Account pursuant to Paragraph 7.6, he shall be credited with a Vesting Year of Service for each Plan Year beginning on or after the Effective date in which he completes at least 1,000 Hours of Service.
A "Vesting Year of Service" means any Plan Year during which an Employee or Participant completes 1,000 or more Hours of Service with an Employer.
SEPCO Employees eligible to participate in the SEPCO Plan on December 31, 1997 shall have their Vesting Year of Service determined as if their anniversary date of hire is January 1.

More Definitions of Vesting Year of Service

Vesting Year of Service means a Plan Year, beginning with the Plan Year in which the Employee commenced employment or reemployment with any Affiliated Company, during which a Participant has completed at least one (1) Hour of Service with an Affiliated Company. For purposes of determining an Employee’s Vesting Years of Service, an Employee, upon completion of an Hour of Service for an Employer, shall receive credit for service with any club which is not an Affiliated Company but which is a club managed by the Company or a club which the Company manages or owns pursuant to a joint venture with another entity, but only for service while such club is managed or partially owned.

Vesting Year of Service means any Plan Year during which the Employee is credited with at least two hundred (200) Hours of Service. Vesting Years of Service shall include all years of service prior to this restatement for which such Employee received a year of service for vesting purposes under the terms of the Plan as previously effective.

Vesting Year of Service means a Period of Service of three hundred sixty-five (365) days, subject to the provisions of Sections 3.2 and 14.3 hereof. Notwithstanding the preceding sentence, if a Participant has a Reemployment Commencement Date, such Participant's Periods of Service before and after such Reemployment Commencement Date which are required to be taken into account under this Plan shall be determined on the basis of the actual number of days in such aggregated Periods of Service.

Vesting Year of Service is the completion of at least 1,000 Hours of Service during the applicable Computation Period. An individual's entire Service is counted in computing his Vesting Years of Service even if the individual is not in a class of employees qualifying such individual as an "Employee" in subsection 2.9. To determine a Participant's vested interest at his resumption of Service after a One-Year Break in Service, a Vesting Year of Service is determined the same as a Vesting Year of Service for Participants with no prior Service, except the applicable Computation Period for measuring his Vesting Years of Service following such break begins on the Participant's Re-Employment Beginning Date instead of on his Employment Beginning Date.

Vesting Year of Service means any Plan Year during which the Employee is credited with at least one thousand (1,000) Hours of Service. Special Provisions applicable to Employees of Acquired Entities The Vesting Years of Service of Employees who were formerly employed by entities that were acquired by the Company shall be subject to the special provisions set forth in Schedule J.

Vesting Year of Service means any Plan Year during which an Employee or Participant completes 1,000 or more Hours of Service with an Employer. In addition, Vesting Years of Service shall include (i) Vesting Years of Service credited to Transferred Employees for vesting purposes under the Prior Plan, and (ii) Vesting Years of Service based on Hours of Service described in Section 2.5.
