VILLAGE PERSONNEL definition

VILLAGE PERSONNEL means all elected officials, all appointed officers, and all employees of the Village.
VILLAGE PERSONNEL means the Village’s officials, officers, employees, agents, nominees and delegates; 1.2 The division of this Agreement into Articles and the insertion of headings are for the convenience of reference only and will not affect the construction or interpretation of this Agreement. The terms "this Agreement", "hereof", "hereunder" and similar expressions refer to this Agreement and not to any particular Article or other portion hereof and include any agreement or instrument supplemental or ancillary hereto. Unless something in the subject matter or context is inconsistent therewith, references herein to Articles are to Articles of this Agreement. 1.3 Words importing the singular number only will include the plural and vice versa, words importing the masculine gender will include the feminine and neuter genders and vice versa and words importing persons will include individuals, partnerships, associations, trusts, unincorporated organizations and corporations, and vice versa. 1.4 This Agreement will be governed by and construed in accordance with Village bylaws and regulations and the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the laws of Canada applicable therein. Reference to any enactment includes any regulations, orders, permits or directives made or issued under the authority of that enactment. 1.5 The word "including", when following any general statement, term or matter, will not be construed to limit such general statement, term or matter to the specific items or matters set forth immediately following such word or to similar items or matters, but will be construed to refer to all other items or matters that could reasonably fall within the scope of such general statement, term or matter, whether or not non- limiting language (such as "without limitation", "but not limited to" or words of similar import) is used with reference thereto. 1.6 Any Village approval or consent to be given pursuant to or in connection with this Agreement is not effective or valid unless provided by the Village in writing. Any Village approval or consent to be granted by the Village in this Agreement may, unless stated expressly otherwise, be granted or withheld in the absolute discretion of the Village.
VILLAGE PERSONNEL means full-time and part-time employees or volunteers of the Village, employees of other municipalities which provide services to or for the Village pursuant to a mutual aid or other intergovernmental cooperation agreement, and independent contractors who provide services to or for the Village.
