Accrued Leave Pay. (a) An employee who is discharged from or leaves his employment before he has qualified for annual leave in terms of sub-clause (2) of this clause shall be entitled to accrued leave pay equivalent to three fifty-seconds of one week's remuneration for each completed span of employment from the date of beginning work with the employer or from the date on which his last leave became due, whichever is the later. Accrued Leave Pay. It is proposed that the affected employees will be entitled to the payment of accrued leave pay calculated up to and including the close of business on the last day of the notice period. Severance pay proposed: It is proposed that the affected employees will be entitled to the payment of severance pay calculated according to the formula of the equivalent of one (1) week’s earnings for each completed year of service with the Employer.
