Actual Hours Worked. For purposes of tracking actual hours worked within the On-Call shift, the following activities are included:
Actual Hours Worked. For the full time employees working less than a full workday, the respective per diem rates for said employees shall be paid on a pro-rata basis based upon the number of hours actually worked. To determine the hourly rate, divide annual salary by 200 days and divide the daily rate by 7 hours.
Actual Hours Worked. For the purposes of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) of 2010 the following types of employee classification will be will be placed in an initial measurement period (IMP) of twelve (12) months from hire date to determine if actual hours worked during this time is an average of thirty (30) hours or more per week: • Part-time employee: the County reasonably expects employee to be employed on average less than thirty (30) hours of service per week during the initial measurement period, based on all facts and circumstances on employee’s start date. • Seasonal employee: customary annual employment for the position is six (6) months or less, and that period begins each calendar year in approximately the same part of the year. • Variable hour employee: based on the facts and circumstances on your start date, the County cannot determine whether the employee is reasonably expected to be employed on average of at least thirty (30) hours of service per week during the initial measurement period because the hours will be variable or otherwise uncertain. Eligibility of extra-help employees in classifications designated as “relief” and “seasonal” will be determined under this category. Employees who qualify for the Kaiser HDHP or Kaiser HMO Plan under Category B will be offered coverage at the end of their individual IMP. There is a thirty (30) day administrative period and coverage will start the first of the following month after the administrative period. Coverage is effective for twelve (12) months (Stability Period).
Actual Hours Worked. Actual hours worked shall be defined as follows: a. Time for phone calls calculated per paragraph 2 of the Visiting Nurse Addendum. b. Home visits to include time spent for delivery of services at the home, travel time to and from the patient’s home, documentation time and related phone calls. c. Time spent in case conferences, meetings with supervisors and training as required by the Employer.
Actual Hours Worked. The Employer calculates payroll based on actual hours worked. The two pay periods per month are the 1st through the 15th of each month and the 16th through the last day of the month. The two paydays per month occur on the 5th and 20th of each month, with the exception of bank holidays, when paydays will occur on the nearest available bank day. To mitigate for perceived impacts of actual hours worked in the month of February, each employee may sell back up to four (4) days of PTO. The February sellback of up to four (4) days of PTO will be paid on the March 5th paycheck.

Related to Actual Hours Worked

  • Hours Worked For the purpose of computing the number of hours worked, all time during which an employee is in paid status shall be construed as hours worked.

  • Standard Work Week The standard work week for full-time employees covered by this Agreement shall be forty (40) hours, exclusive of the time allotted for meal periods, consisting of five (5) consecutive work days followed by two (2) consecutive days off. The week shall commence with the shift that includes 12:01 A.M. Sunday of each calendar week and end at the start of the shift that includes 12:00 midnight the following Saturday. The Employer retains the right to modify the work schedules to meet operational needs.

  • Normal Hours of Work 10A.01 The normal work day is defined as the twenty-four (24) hour period beginning at 12:00 Midnight. 10A.02 The employer has the option of working either five (5) eight (8) hour days or four (4) ten

  • Holidays Worked When an employee works on a calendar holiday, he/she shall receive payment of the holiday at the regular rate and in addition, at the discretion of the Employer, (1) be paid at the rate of time and one half for hours actually worked on the holiday or (2) be given compensatory time off equal to one and one half the number of hours actually worked.

  • Normal Workweek The normal workweek shall consist of five (5) days, eight (8) hours per day and forty (40) hours per week. This Article shall not restrict the extension of the regular workday or workweek on an overtime basis when such is necessary to carry on the business of the District.
