Additional Non-accumulated Leave. Pursuant to Education Code Section 45196, on July 1 of each year, all bargaining unit members shall be credited with a total of 100 work days of paid sick leave, including days to which he/she is entitled under Section 45191 (annual sick leave days allotment). Such days of paid sick leave, in addition to those under Article VIII, section 4, shall be compensated at fifty (50) percent of the employee's regular salary.
