Additional Training/Qualifications. The opportunity for any additional training/qualifications will be afforded to the most senior employee possessing the qualifications for the position. Qualifications for any new positions shall be determined by the Company based on requirements mandated by the Customer. Should training needs dictate, such additional training/qualification opportunity will be offered to the most senior qualified instructor.

Additional Training/Qualifications. Established Teacher To qualify for a compensation unit a teacher expecting to earn a Masters Degree or three hours of graduate credit in the evaluation year must make a written application to the Administration Office by July 1. New Hire In order to qualify for the Bachelor’s +15 Hours lane a new teacher must have the appropriate total number of semester credits earned after completion of a Bachelor’s degree, and these additional hours must meet one of the following criteria:
Additional Training/Qualifications. (a) Bachelors In all cases, in order to qualify for the twelve (12), twenty-one (21), and thirty-six (36) semester hours above the Bachelors degree, the hours must be in the licensed area or education classes. All credit hours must be earned from an institution accredited by one of the six (6) regional accrediting agencies (New England, Middle State, North Central, Northwest, Southern, and Western) and approved by the Indiana Department of Education.

  • Additional Training Should the introduction of new methods of operation create a need for the perfection or acquisition of skills requiring a training period longer than one (1) year, the additional training time shall be a subject for discussion between the Board and the Union.

  • Training Program It is agreed that there shall be an Apprenticeship Training Program, the provisions of which are set forth in Exhibit "C", which is attached hereto and forms part of this Agreement.

  • Annual Training The Governing Board shall receive initial training and annual training thereafter.   • Training Programs All employees shall successfully complete all necessary training prior to being assigned work (e.g., all employees will complete health and safety training prior to being assigned to task). Nothing in this Article or provision shall constitute a waiver of either party’s bargaining obligations or defenses. The Employer still has an obligation to notify and bargain changes in terms and conditions of employment with the exclusive representative.

  • New Member Orientation The Employer will notify the Union of any newly represented temporary employees. The Union will be given the opportunity to have a Union representative speak with the newly represented temporary employees for not more than thirty (30) minutes to provide information about the Union and this Agreement.

  • Training Sub-Type Code There are Sub-Type Categories for each of the three (3) different Training Type Codes. Select one (1) Sub-Type Category code that applies to the training type code you selected. (Select from the chart on pages 10-12.)

  • Training Period The training provided for in this article shall be given during the hours of work whenever possible. Any such training outside of working hours shall be considered voluntary unless at the request of the Employer, in which case time devoted to training shall be considered as time worked.

  • Training Plan Within 90 days after the Effective Date, Good Shepherd shall develop a written plan (Training Plan) that outlines the steps Good Shepherd will take to ensure that: (a) all Covered Persons receive adequate training regarding Good Shepherd’s CIA requirements and Compliance Program, including the Code of Conduct and (b) all Relevant Covered Persons receive adequate training regarding: (i) the Federal health care program requirements regarding eligibility for hospice services upon initial admission, recertification for continued stay, and for Continuous Care, Respite Care, and General Inpatient Care; (ii) the role of physicians in making eligibility determinations; (iii) the accurate coding and submission of claims; (iv) policies, procedures, and other requirements applicable to the documentation of medical records; (v) the personal obligation of each individual involved in the claims submission process to ensure that such claims are accurate; (vi) applicable reimbursement statutes, regulations, and program requirements and directives; (vii) the legal sanctions for violations of the Federal health care program requirements; and (viii) examples of proper and improper eligibility determinations, documentation, and claims submission practices. The Training Plan shall include information regarding the training topics, the categories of Covered Persons and Relevant Covered Persons required to attend each training session, the length of the training, the schedule for training, and the format of the training. Within 30 days of the OIG’s receipt of Good Shepherd’s Training Plan, OIG will notify Good Shepherd of any comments or objections to the Training Plan. Absent notification by the OIG that the Training Plan is unacceptable, Good Shepherd may implement its Training Plan. Good Shepherd shall furnish training to its Covered Persons and Relevant Covered Persons pursuant to the Training Plan during each Reporting Period.

  • Training Units “Training Units” are Red Hat's training credits that may be redeemed by you for any Training as set forth at xxxxx://xxx.xxxxxx.xxx/training/specials/multi_student_discount/ and xxxxx://xxx.xxxxxx.xxx/training/corporate/TUs/.

  • Driver Training A. All drivers are to be provided with appropriate training and refresher courses each year in the following areas as a minimum: * Proper use of equipment including communications equipment; * Defensive driving; * Emergency and accident procedures; * Identifying unusual passenger behavior; * Student harassment and bullying; * Conducting evacuation drills; * Sensitivity training in working with disabled persons; * Human relation skills in working with parents, school staff, etc; * General vehicle maintenance and pre-trip inspections; and * Map reading and city street coordinates. The Department of Business and Transportation Services may review Contractors’ bus driver training program, upon request.
