Administration and Operations. The administration and operation of the Crime Lab shall be in conformance with the precepts set forth in the Constitution and Bylaws of the Crime Lab and any Standard Operating Guidelines established under the authority of those bylaws.

Administration and Operations. The University may consider requests for an exemption to the requirement, in its sole discretion, provided that the request is made by the Resident to the Assistant Xxxx, Administration and Operations. Exemption requests should be made as soon as practicable for the Resident but no later than 3 days prior to move-in date in order to provide the University with sufficient opportunity to review the request and to discuss with the Resident, if necessary
Administration and Operations. Allocation of Responsibilities. Alliance staff (if any) and/or a service provider by contract with the Alliance, shall administer and manage the Alliance and the Regional Assets. (A service provider shall be referred to in this Agreement as “Administrative Lead”). Alliance staff (if any) and/or one or more service providers by contract with the Alliance shall operate the Regional Assets (the service providers shall be referred to individually or collectively in this Agreement as “Operator” or “Operators”). CRWWD shall serve as the initial Administrative Lead for at least five years after the Alliance Operations Date. Xxxxx County shall serve as Operator of the Salmon Creek Wastewater Management System and the Battle Ground Force Main System and Ridgefield shall serve as Operator of the Ridgefield Treatment System (all as described in Exhibit B) for at least five years after the Alliance Operations Date. The initial designation of CRWWD as Administrative Lead and the initial designation of Xxxxx County and Ridgefield as Operators may be adjusted upon the mutual agreement of the Board and the Member serving as Administrative Lead or as an Operator. The Board periodically, and at least every five years after the Alliance Operations Date shall review, and may adjust, Administrative Lead and Operator arrangements. Changes in Administrative Lead or Operator responsibilities shall take effect no sooner than the calendar year beginning at least 12 months after the decision to make the relevant change. In connection with the transfer of Administrative Lead or Operator responsibilities, the Alliance will use its best reasonable effort to provide that either the Alliance or the Member undertaking or contracting for the services provided by the Administrative Lead or Operator will hire each of the employees of the previous Administrative Lead or Operator who had previously performed the relevant services and who requests continued employment in that or a similar capacity.
Administration and Operations. 7. How is the Agreement administered? What links exist between the language department and other GNWT and federal departments? The PDCC: ▪ The PDCC is administered by the GNWT and the FFT. The FFT receives the PDCC funding from the GNWT and distributes it to member organizations, based on the projects approved at the FFT AGM; ▪ The member organizations report on their activities to the FFT, which then coordinates a comprehensive/ consolidated report to the GNWT and Canadian Heritage; ▪ Canadian Heritage does not feel that the reports being received are sufficient; Funding for GNWT services: ▪ The GNWT distributes the funding among the various departments. The Office of the Language Commissioner (OLC) reports on services to Canadian Heritage; ▪ The GNWT establishes the priorities and activities to be funded; ▪ Justice submits an estimate of its requirements in December and submits an annual report on its activities at the end of June; ▪ H&SS receives funding and then allocates between project proposals and departmental needs. The allocation process has been viewed as a problem and confusing in that it is not transparent and there is an overlap between report writing and proposals for future funding; ▪ Canadian Heritage does not feel that the reports being received are sufficient; ▪ Canadian Heritage would also prefer to see greater detail in the financial report associated with the Agreement. It has been told the mechanisms needed to offer those details are not in place, Research Issues Key Findings from the French Language Community although this appears to be changing in response to the need; ▪ Canadian Heritage does not provide any direct support for the development of strategic plans under the Agreement and deals only with the OLC;

Agreement Administration: ▪ An Agreement Management Committee administers the Agreement. For Aboriginal Objective 1, the language communities (through a designated recipient) receive base funding ($50,000) and portion of the remaining funding based on percent of the Aboriginal population (linked to 1998 demographic data); ▪ In most cases, the contribution agreement recipient is the Aboriginal government organization for Research Issues Key Findings from the Aboriginal Language Communities the language community; ▪ In most cases, the relationship between the GNWT contribution agreement recipient and language coordinator is primarily a financial arrangement. In two cases, the recipient has changed since the beginning of the Agreement and in another, the language coordinator indicated that the relationship is not supportive; ▪ GNWT officials expressed the view that the recipient should support the language coordinator by distributing the funds, and not by dictating what activities should be undertaken; ▪ The GNWT is the functional link between Canada and the individual language communities; ▪ ECE (HQ) manages the financial allocations for the Aurora College programs and each year, the College submits proposals for program delivery in a number of communities; ▪ ECE also coordinates the distribution of language funding amongst GNWT departments; ▪ In some regions there is very little link between the District Education Council (DEC) and political body, creating uncertainty about language programming and emphasis;
Administration and Operations. With respect to administrative and operational support for the District, the City of Tucson shall designate a person to act as the City's liaison with the District. Such person shall be designated by the City Manager from within the City Manager's Office, and shall be a deputy or assistant to the City Manager with direct reporting to the City Manager. The City's liaison shall provide or cause to be provided, upon District request, the legally required posting of meeting notices and minutes, as well as to coordinate efficiently District issues and projects with the City of Tucson executive staff (City Manager, City Attorney, Director of Finance, the Mayor and others as needed). The City of Tucson shall advise the District in writing of the name, address and telephone number of the assigned administrative and operational liaison who shall be the point of contact for District requests and inquiries to the City of Tucson.
