Admission Requirements and Procedures. 3.1 The maximum number of students that may participate in each cohort shall be forty (40). 3.2 Each Collaborating Institution shall be responsible for ensuring that it has appropriate academic classrooms for the total number of students participating in each cohort. 3.3 Students shall apply for admission to the Global MBA Program on-line at: xxx.xxxx.xxx.xxx. 3.4 For each Program Cycle, the application deadline for prospective students is September 30th prior to the commencement of the Program Cycle. Students must submit their complete application on or before that deadline. 3.5 Student admission decisions shall be jointly made by all four Collaborating Institutions. An Admissions Council (“Council”) of four (4) members shall be created (each Collaborating Institution shall appoint one (1) member of the Council). The Council shall be responsible for student selection based on the following materials submitted and minimum criteria for admission: a) Fully complete online application form; b) Resume or CV in English; c) Personal Statement explaining the interest in the Program; d) Passport Copy (national ID cards will not be accepted); e) The applicants must have successfully completed a Bachelor’s Degree from a university or technical college that meets each national higher education criteria of all four countries (i.e., a Bachelor’s degree has to be worth at least 180 ECTS or equivalent degree); f) The applicants have to demonstrate their proficiency in English (level C1 or equivalent), by meeting one or more of the following standards: a. TOEFL-Test score of 80 (CBT 227); b. IELTS (Academic): minimum score of 6.5 (minimum of 6.0 in all skills); c. Bachelor or Master Program entirely completed in English.
Admission Requirements and Procedures. 4.1 The signing institutions will ensure provision of the required number of places. The number of students that will participate in the Double Degree Program will be jointly determined by both institutions on a yearly basis in the period between February and May. Both institutions shall attempt to keep a reasonable balance in the number of students exchanged. With this goal in mind, they establish 8 (eight) to be the maximum number of students who will be allowed to take part in the exchange during each academic year. For the first year of the Program the parties agree to set the maximum number of students to 4 (four) for each of the participating institution. 4.2 Student admission is separately conducted by each institution. The Program coordinator of each Institution is responsible for student advising and student selection based on the following minimum requirements: - The students must have successfully completed a bachelor’s degree, in Civil Engineering or Architecture, must be admitted to the master’s degree, and be selected by their home institution for this Program. - The students must demonstrate their language proficiency in English (at least, level B2 Trinity College or internet based TOEFL score 90 or IELTS test score 6.5). Alternatively, they must demonstrate to have completed a Bachelor Program entirely taught in English.

In selecting candidates, an overall assessment of their academic background will be made, subject to a classification on a numerical scale from 0 to 20 points. The following criteria will be considered: 1. . Classification and suitability of the academic degree held by the candidate, weighted against the training area of the study cycle concerning the specific objectives and conditions of entry into the Master's Program. In the case of academic degrees obtained from foreign higher education institutions, the classification will be the result of the proportional conversion of the accepted classification to the Portuguese classification scale when the foreign higher education institution adopts a scale different from this; 2. .   • Admission Requirements USERs and Participants are subject to the administrative and technical supervision and control of CONTRACTOR; and will comply with all applicable rules of CONTRACTOR and DOE with regard to admission to and use of the User facility, including safety, operating and health-physics procedures, environment protection, access to information, hours of work, and conduct.   • Safeguarding requirements and procedures (1) The Contractor shall apply the following basic safeguarding requirements and procedures to protect covered contractor information systems.   • Construction Requirements (a) All Life and Safety and applicable Building Codes will be strictly enforced (i.e., tempered glass, fire dampers, exit signs, smoke detectors, alarms, etc.). Prior coordination with the Building Manager is required. (b) Electric panel schedules must be brought up to date identifying all new circuits added. (c) All electrical outlets and lighting circuits are to be properly identified. Outlets will be labeled on back side of each cover plate. (d) All electrical and phone closets being used must have panels replaced and doors shut at the end of each day’s work. Any electrical closet that is opened with the panel exposed must have a work person present. (e) All electricians, telephone personnel, etc. will, upon completion of their respective projects, pick up and discard their trash leaving the telephone and electrical rooms clean. If this is not complied with, a clean-up will be conducted by the building janitors and the general contractor will be back-charged for this service. (f) Welding or burning with an open flame will not be done without prior approval of the Building Manager. Fire extinguishers must be on hand at all times. (g) All “anchoring” of walls or supports to the concrete are not to be done during normal working hours (7:30 AM—6:00 PM, Monday through Friday). This work must be scheduled before or after these hours during the week or on the weekend. (h) All core drilling is not to be done during normal working hours (7:30 AM—6:00 PM, Monday through Friday).   • Notification Requirements 1. If the Family Leave is foreseeable, the employee must provide the agency/department with thirty (30) calendar days notice of his or her intent to take Family Leave. 2. If the event necessitating the Family Leave becomes known to the employee less than thirty (30) calendar days prior to the employee's need for Family Leave, the employee must provide as much notice as possible. In no case shall the employee provide notice later than five (5) calendar days after he or she learns of the need for Family Leave. 3. For foreseeable leave due to a qualifying exigency, an employee must provide notice of the need for leave as soon as practicable, regardless of how far in advance such leave is foreseeable. 4. When the Family Leave is for the purpose of the scheduled medical treatment or planned medical care of a child, parent, spouse or registered domestic partner, the employee shall, to the extent practicable, schedule treatment and/or care in a way that minimizes disruption to agency/department operations.
