AGES AND HOURS OF SERVICES. West End Home Child Care Services offers child care services in a home environment to children from 3 months to 12 years old. The homes open from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday to Friday. Some home providers are flexible in hours working evenings and weekends. HOME CHILD CARE PROGRAM West End Home Child Care Services offer initial and on-going training programs, workshops, playgroups and counselingservices to our providers. This offers providers a broader range of experiences, which will enhance the quality of childcare through more stimulating and challenging programs. Parents/Guardians are welcome to attend any workshops offered for staff and Providers. Certain providers have training for children with special needs. A provider may care for a maximum of six children including her own under six years of age, providing has adequate room space and she/he is capable of caring for them. To qualify, our agency must conduct a thorough evaluation of the provider’s home to ensure adequate physically safe environment. As well, providers are required to supply two personal or professional references. Provider and all other adults residing in the home or frequently visiting the home are required to complete a criminal reference check. In addition, providers, their families and all children enrolled in the program must have a physical and/or TB test or chest X-ray. This is to ensure the optimum safety of the child’s home day care environment. Prior to entering home child care each child’s parent must present to the home consultant an up to date immunization record of the child. Before a child enters in the day care must provide the agency with an updated immunization record and update it thereafter as per local Medical Officer of Health. If aparent/guardian does not wish their child to be immunized, will have to provide the agency with a signedletter, on the grounds that the immunization conflict with their own convictions or religion. If there is a medical reasona legally qualified medical practitioner signs a document as to why the child shouldn’t be immunized.

  • Hours of Service The minimum number of Hours of Service an Employee must complete during a vesting computation period to receive credit for a Year of Service is: (Choose (c) or (d)) [X] (c) 1,000 Hours of Service.

  • WAGES AND HOURS Wage rates established at the beginning of the Work will not be changed without the approval of the Owner. The Work will be performed on a 40-hour week basis insofar as possible and no overtime will be worked without prior approval of the Owner. This Section shall not be applicable in the event that this Agreement provides for a lump-sum or unit price agreement for the Work.

  • Days and Hours of Work The standard workweek for workers occupying full-time positions consists of 40 hours unless otherwise specified by the Board of Supervisors. The appointing authority shall fix the hours of work with due regard for the convenience of the public and the laws of the State and the County. Workers occupying part-time positions shall work such hours and schedules as the Board and the appointing authority shall prescribe.

  • Period of Services Unless otherwise stated herein, the Consultant will begin work after receipt of a properly executed copy of this Agreement. This Agreement assumes conditions permitting continuous and orderly progress through completion of the services. Times for performance shall be extended as necessary for delays or suspensions due to circumstances that the Consultant does not control. If such delay or suspension extends for more than six months, Consultant’s compensation shall be renegotiated.

  • Consecutive Hours of Work The daily hours of work for each employee shall be consecutive.

  • HOURS OF WORK & OVERTIME (Subject to implementation instructions, the following clauses will appear in all collective agreements replacing any provision related to the Work Week and Work Day, Rest Periods, Overtime Definitions, Overtime/Callback Accumulation, Missed Meal Breaks, Meal Allowance, Time Off Between Shifts, and Change of Schedule that existed in the Hospital’s expiring collective agreement:)

  • 00 - HOURS OF WORK 14.01 The Employer does not guarantee to provide work to any employee for regularly assigned hours or any other hours, except as provided for in Article 18.00. Eight (8) hours shall constitute a normal day of work. The normal hours of work shall be between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. for an eight (8) hour day, with one-half or one hour for lunch at the midpoint of the shift. Forty (40) hours shall constitute a normal week's work, Monday through Friday inclusive. Variances beyond one (1) hour of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. shall be agreed mutually between the Employer and the Business Manager. The one (1) hour variance is conditional upon the Employer giving the Union and affected employees appropriate advance notice. If the foregoing starting or quitting times are changed without mutual agreement, applicable overtime rates shall be paid for any time worked before or after the above hours as a result of the change of the times.

  • Ordinary Hours of Work The ordinary hours of work will be worked any time between 6.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday. Ordinary hours of work may be varied by agreement between the Employer and the majority of the employees concerned and the ETU State Secretary (via the relevant full time ETU Official) to accommodate the hours or work required for the most efficient and safe operation of the Employer and the requirements of its client. Where agreement is reached to work alternate hours, occupational health and safety principles will prevail. Proper health monitoring procedures will be introduced and suitable rosters clearly agreed prior to commencing work. Adequate supervision must always be provided. Matters on which agreement may be reached include:

  • Cost of Services Political Subdivision shall share some expenses for the above services, supplies and equipment. Additional elections may lower costs for each entity, and election cancellations may raise costs for each entity. It is understood that other political entities may wish to participate in the use of the County’s electronic voting equipment and polling locations, and it is agreed that Contracting Officer may enter into other contracts with entities for those purposes on terms and conditions generally similar to those set forth in this Agreement. Only the actual expenses directly attributable to this Agreement and any prorated shared expenses may be charged to Political Subdivision, plus a 10% administrative fee.
