ANNUAL VACATION AND SUPPLEMENTARY VACATIONS. 8.1 The vacation year shall be defined by the anniversary day of the commencement of the employee's employment.
ANNUAL VACATION AND SUPPLEMENTARY VACATIONS. 8.1 The vacation year shall be defined by calendar year (January 1st to December 31st), but will be accrued according to employment date. Employees currently earning vacation credits on a calendar-year basis will continue to earn credits on that basis until such time as their service with the Employer ends. Credits will be earned in accordance with the current CCCU Collective Agreement.
ANNUAL VACATION AND SUPPLEMENTARY VACATIONS. 8.3 Senior employees shall be given preference in the selection of vacation periods. Employees who wish to take their vacation in broken periods instead of one (1) period may do so subject to the following: Employees shall select their vacation periods in order of the common seniority list in the branch. However, only one (1) vacation period shall be selected by seniority until all employees in the signing group have had the opportunity to select one (1) vacation period. Subsequently, those employees who have chosen to take their vacations in separate periods shall select the periods in order of seniority. It is understood and agreed that the time available will include the entire year and will not unreasonably exclude preferred dates/peak periods such as Christmas due to management holiday absences. Subject to consideration of the efficient operation of the Agency, employees shall be allowed to use one (1) week of their vacation entitlement in periods of less than one (1) week duration. Should an employee post or bump to another office after the vacation schedule has been set for the year, such employee may be required to reschedule a vacation for that year only meet operation requirements. The Employer will make every reasonable effort to accommodate the posting or bumping employee’s vacation request subject to operational requirements.   • Supplementary Vacation The supplementary vacations as set out below are to be banked on the outlined supplementary vacation employment anniversary date and taken at the employee’s option at any time subsequent to the current supplementary vacation employment anniversary date but prior to the next supplementary vacation employment anniversary date.

  • ANNUAL VACATIONS Vacation entitlement earned during previous employment shall be credited to the employee, and vacations granted shall be in accordance with such previous entitlement (Articles 28.01 and 28.02).

  • Annual Vacation Auxiliary employees will be entitled to receive annual vacation at the rate of four percent (4%) of their regular earnings. After one thousand (1,000) days worked, auxiliary employees will be entitled to receive annual vacation at the rate of six percent (6%) of their regular earnings.

  • Split Vacations Where an employee wishes to split her vacation, her second choice of vacation time shall be made only after all other employees concerned have made their initial selection.

  • VACATION AND VACATION PAY 9.01 All employees who are covered under this Agreement shall receive vacation pay as a percent of the employee's total earnings exclusive of the Employer's contribution to the Union's Benefit Plan. Income tax shall be deducted weekly from the employee's earnings increased by the amount of vacation pay.

  • PAID VACATIONS 16.01 An employee in the active employ of the Company shall be entitled to an annual paid vacation pay on the following basis:

  • SECTION 4 - VACATION 4.1 Employee shall be entitled to accrue and take vacation leave in accordance with the policy applicable to employees of Manitoba.

  • Weeks Vacation Subject to Article 17.08 and Article 17.01 (a) (ii), employees shall be entitled to take five (5) weeks vacation leave with pay during the first and subsequent complete fiscal years following the date in which they complete fourteen (14) years of service. Such leave shall be earned at the rate of two and one-twelfth (2 1/12) days for each completed calendar month of service.
