APPROVAL OF CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS. When the design is completed with all review comments incorporated, the Design Professional shall furnish two complete sets of Construction Documents including plans and specifications to the Owner and shall furnish one set each to the Using Agency and to the Program Manager (if any). The Design Professional must wait to receive the written approval of the Owner.

APPROVAL OF CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS. When the design is completed with all review comments incorporated, the Design Professional shall furnish five complete sets of Construction Documents including plans and specifications as directed by the Owner, two of which are furnished directly to the Owner and shall furnish one set each to the Using Agency. The Design Professional must receive the written approval of the Owner prior to issuance. In addition, a digital copy of the final deliverables and all associated back-up shall be provided. Additional copies will be furnished at reproduction cost. (See also Para. 2.2.1.3)
APPROVAL OF CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS. Architect shall obtain all necessary approvals for the Construction Documents for the Project from governmental agencies with jurisdiction therefor as necessary for the bidding and construction of the Work depicted in the Construction Documents, including without limitation, approvals by DSA. Architect shall revise the Construction Documents as required by DSA or other governmental agencies to obtain their respective approvals of the Construction Documents. Except for the Architect's fees (which are included in the Contract Price for Basic Services) incurred in obtaining the approvals or preparing revisions pursuant to the foregoing, the District shall pay all other costs or fees necessary for obtaining the approvals.

APPROVAL OF CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS. Upon Landlord's approval of the Space Plans, Tenant shall have prepared, by a licensed architect and engineer acceptable to Landlord in Landlord's sole and absolute discretion, construction drawings (in accordance with the Space Plans) and specifications including complete sets of detailed architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing working drawings (the "Proposed Construction Documents") for the Initial Tenant Improvements and shall deliver the Proposed Construction Documents to Landlord for approval. Within ten (10) business days after delivery of the Proposed Construction Documents to Landlord, Landlord shall either approve the Proposed Construction Documents or notify Tenant of the item(s) of the Proposed Construction Documents that Landlord disapproves and the reason(s) therefor. If Landlord disapproves the Proposed Construction Documents, Tenant shall revise and resubmit same to Landlord for approval (the "Revised Construction Documents"). Within five (5) business days after delivery of the Revised Construction Documents to Landlord, Landlord shall either approve the Revised Construction Documents or notify Tenant of the item(s) of the Revised Construction Documents which Landlord disapproves and the reason(s) therefor. If Landlord disapproves the Revised Construction Documents, Tenant shall further revise and resubmit same to Landlord for approval, which process shall continue until the plans are approved. Landlord shall have five (5) business days after delivery of each set of Revised Construction Documents to either approve the Revised Construction Drawings or notify Tenant of the item(s) of the Revised Construction Drawings which Landlord disapproves and the reason(s) therefor. The Proposed Construction Documents or Revised Construction Documents, as approved by Landlord, are hereinafter referred to as the "Approved Construction Documents".
APPROVAL OF CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS. (a) No approval of designs, plans, and specifications by City shall be construed as representing or implying that the improvements built in accordance therewith shall be free of defects, and any such approvals shall in no event be construed as representing or guaranteeing that any improvements built in accordance therewith will be designed or built in a good and workmanlike manner. Neither City nor its elected officials, officers, employees, contractors, and/or agents shall be responsible or liable in damages or otherwise to anyone submitting plans and specifications for approval by City for any defects in any plans or specifications submitted, revised, or approved, any loss or damages to any person arising out of approval or disapproval or failure to approve or disapprove any plans or specifications, any loss or damage arising from the noncompliance of such plans or specifications with any governmental ordinance or regulation, nor any defects in construction undertaken pursuant to such plans and specifications. (b) Approval by the Director of Engineering or other City employee, officer, or consultant of any plans, designs or specifications submitted by Company under this Agreement shall not constitute or be deemed to be a release of the responsibility and liability of Company, its engineers, contractors, employees, officers, or agents for the accuracy and competency of their design and specifications. Such approval shall not be deemed to be an assumption of such responsibility or liability by City for any defect in the design and specifications prepared by Company's consulting engineer, its officers, agents, servants, or employees, it being the intent of the Parties that approval by the Director of Engineering or other City employee, officer or consultant signifies City approval of only the general design concept of the improvements to be constructed. (c) For a period of three (3) years following Completion of Construction of the Phase 1 Infrastructure, Company shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless City, its officers, agents, and employees, from any loss, damage, liability or expense on account of damage to property and injuries, including death, to any and all persons which may arise directly out of any defect or deficiency in the Phase 1 Infrastructure directly related to the designs and specifications set forth in the Approved Plans, but only to the extent prepared or caused to be prepared by Company and incorporated into any improvements construct...

Any changes to the Tenant Plans required by the City of Los Angeles or any governmental agency or body shall be approved by Landlord and Tenant.
