Attendance at Lodge Meetings. Subject to the need for orderly scheduling and emergencies, the Employer agrees that elected officials and members of the Board of Directors of the Lodge shall be permitted reasonable time off, without loss of pay, to attend general, board or special meetings of the Lodge, provided that at least forty-eight (48) hours’ notice of such meetings shall be given in writing to the Employer, and provided further that the names of all such officials and Officers shall be certified in writing to the Employer. Unit representatives shall also be included within the provisions of the preceding sentence, provided that such time off for such Unit representatives shall be without pay, unless the Unit representative has compensatory time available and elects to use it.

Attendance at Lodge Meetings. Subject to the needs of the Department as a result of police emergencies, the Department agrees that elected officials of the Executive Board of Directors of the Lodge shall be permitted reasonable time off, to attend Board, general and special meetings of the Lodge, provided at least forty-eight (48) hours notice of such meetings shall be given in writing to the Department and provided further that the names of all such officers who are Board members who will be attending such meeting is certified in writing to the Department.
Attendance at Lodge Meetings. As soon as a Lodge meeting is scheduled, Lodge members who wish to attend the meeting shall request permission to attend and permission will be granted and the employee’s work schedule will be changed to allow the employee to attend the meeting if it does not adversely affect the efficiency of the Department.

  • Attendance at Meetings Any employee required to attend Occupational Health and Safety Committee and/or Board of Management meetings in the capacity of employee representative shall, if such meetings are held outside the ordinary hours of work, be entitled to receive ordinary pay per hour for the actual time spent in attendance at such meetings. In lieu of receiving payment, employees may, with the agreement of the employer, be permitted to be free from duty for a period of time equivalent to the period spent in attendance at such meetings. Such time spent shall not be viewed as overtime for the purposes of this Agreement.

  • ATTENDANCE AT MANDATORY MEETINGS/SCHOOL EVENTS Where an employee is required through clear direction by the board to attend work outside of regular working hours, the provisions of the local collective agreement regarding hours of work and compensation, including any relevant overtime/lieu time provisions, shall apply. Required attendance outside of regular working hours may include, but is not limited to school staff meetings, parent/teacher interviews, curriculum nights, Individual Education Plan and Identification Placement Review Committee meetings, and consultations with board professional staff.

  • Board Meetings The Superintendent shall attend, and shall be permitted to attend, all meetings of the Board, both public and closed, with the exception of those closed meetings devoted to the consideration of any action or lack of action on the Superintendent's Contract, or the Superintendent's evaluation, or for purposes of resolving conflicts between individual Board members, or when the Board is acting in its capacity as a tribunal.   • Telephone Meetings Members of a committee of the Board of Directors may participate in a meeting by means of a conference telephone or other communications equipment if all persons participating in the meeting can hear each other at the same time. Participation in a meeting by these means shall constitute presence in person at the meeting.

  • Performance Meetings During a meeting on performance, the parties will: (a) discuss the causes of a Performance Factor; (b) discuss the impact of a Performance Factor on the local health system and the risk resulting from non-performance; and (c) determine the steps to be taken to remedy or mitigate the impact of the Performance Factor (the “Performance Improvement Process”).
