Authorization of Deductions. 2:05 New employees shall be required to sign authorization cards for deduction of initiation fees, dues and assessments as required by the By-Laws of the Union. Such deductions shall be forwarded to the Union not later than the last business day of the month in which these deductions were made. It is understood that dues are payable either monthly or quarterly, in advance, and that the payment schedule is to be determined by the Union. Dues shall be deducted from the second pay of the month previous to the period for which they are applicable.

The College will deduct from the pay of the members of the Association covered by this Agreement any dues, assessments, and fees levied in accordance with the Constitution and Bylaws of the Association and its affiliates. Deductions shall be made or changed only following Human Resources’ receipt, from the Association Treasurer and executed by Association members for that purpose, of an individually signed OEA Membership Enrollment Form.

Authorization of Deductions. Any unit member may sign and deliver to the Superintendent an assignment authorization deduction of unified membership dues, initiation fees, general assessments in the Association or a service fee. Such authorization shall continue in effect unless revoked in writing. Pursuant to such authorization, the Superintendent shall deduct one-tenth (1/10) of such dues or service fee from the regular salary check of the unit member each month for ten (10) months. Deductions for unit members who sign such authorization after the commencement of the school year shall be prorated.
Authorization of Deductions. A. Deductions of a voluntary nature shall be authorized in writing by November 1 of the contract year.
Authorization of Deductions. A. The right to refund the employee's monies deducted from their salaries under such above authorization shall lie solely with the Association. The Association agrees to reimburse any employee for the amount of any dues deducted by the Board and paid to the Association, which deduction is by error in excess of the proper deduction, and agrees to hold the Board harmless from any claims of excess deductions.
Authorization of Deductions. The authorization for deductions pursuant to this Article shall be made on a form supplied to the unit members by the Union, which has been approved by the County. The form of a proper Authorization Card is attached to this Agreement as Exhibit A. A deduction regarding any unit member shall not be made by the County during any month unless the authorization form, signed by the unit member, has been delivered to the County not later than the first day of the month in which the first deduction is to be made.
