BACKGROUND CHECKS AND SECURITY. Contractor shall perform criminal history background checks on each interpreter prior to their first instance of providing services, and annually thereafter. The initial background check requirement may be waived if the interpreter has had a criminal history background check performed within one (1) year prior to providing services under this Contract. Contractor must have on file annual background checks for the interpreters. The cost to conduct the background check will be borne by Contractor, and cannot be invoiced as a separate item therefore it must be included in hourly rates. Contractor shall not allow interpreters without background checks to be scheduled for Interpreter Services. The background check performed by the Washington State Patrol is the minimum standard. Washington State Patrol criminal history background checks are valid for one (1) year from date of issue. Contractor shall provide each interpreter’s background check results upon request by Enterprise Services or Purchaser. Should Contractor gain knowledge of any changes in criminal history of an interpreter, Contractor shall immediately notify Purchasers that have pending appointments with that interpreter. If Contractor determines an interpreter fails the background check or if there is an indication from the background check results that the interpreter may pose a risk to Purchasers (including Purchaser’s clients) (refer to the DSHS Secretary’s lists of Crimes and Negative Actions), Contractor is to immediately prohibit any interpreter from providing services under this Contract. Contractor shall also comply with any additional agency background check requirements in addition to this section.

BACKGROUND CHECKS AND SECURITY. Contractor shall require all its employees to pass a background investigation and security training test conducted by the Airport’s Security Access Office in order to receive clearance for employment at the Airport and an Airport badge. The City may, upon written notice, require Contractor’s employees to undergo additional background investigations that may be mandated by Federal Aviation Administration, Transportation Security Administration, or another State and/or Federal agency. The City may request Contractor to reassign or remove any employee at any time for improper activities including violating any of the Airport’s Rules and Regulations, and Contractor shall promptly take such action.

B. Contractor shall immediately provide a list of names to the County Representative of all employees who have been cleared by the Orange County Safety Administrator to receive a Vendor ID badge. This list will be posted at the guard shack and used to validate all Contractor employees requesting access to the facility. C. Contractor shall submit a national background check and drug screen on all new hire employees including sub-contractor new hire employees and a report shall be forwarded to the Orange County Utilities Safety Administrator. The employees shall not begin work on County property until approval has been given by the Orange County Utilities Safety Administrator and vendor ID badge has been issued by Orange County. The Contractor shall immediately provide a list of names of all new hire employees to the County Representative that have been cleared by the Orange County Safety Administrator to receive a Vendor ID badge. This list will be posted at the guard shack and used to validate all new hire Contractor employees requesting access to the facility. D. All Contractor & sub-contractor employees shall have an Orange County vendor picture identification badge in their possession at all times. Lost or stolen badges shall be reported immediately to the Orange County Utilities Safety Administrator and the County Representative. E. All Contractor or sub-contractor terminated employees shall have their vendor identification badge returned to the Orange County Utilities Safety Administrator for proper disposal. The Contractor shall also immediately notify the County Representative the name of the terminated employee so that they can be removed from the list posted at the guard shack. F.   • Background Screening and Security ‌ All Contractor employees and agents performing work under the Contract must comply with all security and other requirements of the Department.

  • Background Checks The State may require that the Contractor and Contractor Parties undergo criminal background checks as provided for in the State of Connecticut Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection Administration and Operations Manual or such other State document as governs procedures for background checks.   • Access and Security Customer shall employ all physical, administrative and technical controls, screening and security procedures and other safeguards necessary to: (a) securely administer the distribution and use of all Access Credentials and protect against any unauthorized access to or use of the Hosted Services; and (b) control the content and use of Customer Data, including the uploading or other provision of Customer Data for Processing by the Hosted Services.

  • Password and Security If you are issued or create any password or other credentials to access the Service or the portion of the Site through which the Service is offered, you agree not to give or make available your password or credentials to any unauthorized individuals, and you agree to be responsible for all actions taken by anyone to whom you have provided such credentials. If you believe that your credentials have been lost or stolen or that someone may attempt to use them to access the Site or Service without your consent, you must inform us at once at the telephone number provided in Section 6 of the General Terms above.   • Background Check The Department or Customer may require the Contractor to conduct background checks of its employees, agents, representatives, and subcontractors as directed by the Department or Customer. The cost of the background checks will be borne by the Contractor. The Department or Customer may require the Contractor to exclude the Contractor’s employees, agents, representatives, or subcontractors based on the background check results. In addition, the Contractor must ensure that all persons have a responsibility to self-report to the Contractor within three (3) calendar days any arrest for any disqualifying offense. The Contractor must notify the Contract Manager within twenty-four (24) hours of all details concerning any reported arrest. Upon the request of the Department or Customer, the Contractor will re-screen any of its employees, agents, representatives, and subcontractors during the term of the Contract.

  • Background and Security Investigations 7.5.1 Each of Contractor’s staff performing services under this Contract, who is in a designated sensitive position, as determined by County in County's sole discretion, shall undergo and pass a background investigation to the satisfaction of County as a condition of beginning and continuing to perform services under this Contract. Such background investigation must be obtained through fingerprints submitted to the California Department of Justice to include State, local, and federal-level review, which may include, but shall not be limited to, criminal conviction information. The fees associated with the background investigation shall be at the expense of the Contractor, regardless of whether the member of Contractor’s staff passes or fails the background investigation. If a member of Contractor’s staff does not pass the background investigation, County may request that the member of Contractor’s staff be removed immediately from performing services under the Contract. Contractor shall comply with County’s request at any time during the term of the Contract. County will not provide to Contractor or to Contractor’s staff any information obtained through the County’s background investigation. 7.5.2 County, in its sole discretion, may immediately deny or terminate facility access to any member of Contractor’s staff that does not pass such investigation to the satisfaction of the County or whose background or conduct is incompatible with County facility access. 7.5.3 Disqualification of any member of Contractor’s staff pursuant to this Paragraph 7.5 shall not relieve Contractor of its obligation to complete all work in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Contract.

  • Privacy and Security (a) Each of the Company and its Subsidiaries complies (and requires and monitors the compliance of applicable third parties) in all material respects with all applicable Laws relating to privacy or data security, and reputable industry practice, standards, self-governing rules and policies and their own published, posted and internal agreements and policies (which are in conformance with reputable industry practice) (all of the foregoing collectively, “Privacy Laws”) with respect to: (i) personally identifiable information (including name, address, telephone number, electronic mail address, social security number, bank account number or credit card number), sensitive personal information and any special categories of personal information regulated thereunder or covered thereby (“Personal Information”), whether any of same is accessed or used by the Company or any of its Subsidiaries or any of their respective business partners; and (ii) non-personally identifiable information, whether any of same is accessed or used by the Company or any of its Subsidiaries or any of their respective business partners. (b) Neither the Company nor any of its Subsidiaries uses, collects, or receives any Personal Information or sensitive non-personally identifiable information and does not become aware of the identity or location of, or identify or locate, any particular Person as a result of any receipt of such Personal Information, in a manner which would materially breach or violate any Privacy Laws and materially and adversely impact the business of the Company and its Subsidiaries, taken as a whole. (c) To the Company’s knowledge, Persons with which the Company or any of its Subsidiaries have contractual relationships have not breached any agreements or any Privacy Laws pertaining to Personal Information and to non-personally identifiable information. (d) To the Company’s knowledge, the Company and its Subsidiaries take all commercially reasonable steps to protect the operation, confidentiality, integrity and security of their respective business systems and websites and all information and transactions stored or contained therein or transmitted thereby against any unauthorized or improper use, access, transmittal, interruption, modification or corruption, and there have been no material breaches of same. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, each of the Company and its Subsidiaries (i) uses industry standard encryption technology and (ii) has implemented a comprehensive security plan that (1) identifies internal and external risks to the security of the Company’s or its Subsidiaries’ confidential information and Personal Information and (2) implements, monitors and improves adequate and effective safeguards to control those risks.
