Badge. All employees shall be given their current badge upon retirement and credentials identifying them as retired from the State of Ohio. At the Employer’s expense, agencies may modify the badge to indicate that it is no longer in active service. Upon retirement, on a one-time basis, employees shall be sold their service weapon at the initial purchase price, less 20% depreciation each year until the remaining price is $1; unless the retirement is for reasons of psychological disability, whereupon the employee shall receive the dollar value of the service weapon, as identified in the table above.
Badge. Any person who is not properly displaying or who cannot produce a valid Airport security badge must immediately be referred to the Sheriff’s Department – Airport Police Services Office for proper handling. The Airport security badge is the property of the County of Orange and must be returned upon termination of TENANT personnel employment and/or termination of the Lease. The loss of a badge shall be reported within 24 hours to the Sheriff’s Department–Airport Police Services by calling (000) 000-0000. TENANT or TENANT personnel who lose their badges shall be required to pay a fee before receiving a replacement badge. The charge for lost badge replacement will be posted in the Airport Administration Office and is subject to change without notice. A report shall be made before a replacement badge will be issued. The Airport security badge is nontransferable. In the event that TENANT’s badge is not returned to the Airport upon termination of TENANT personnel employment and/or termination of the Lease, the TENANT and/or TENANT personnel shall be liable to the County of Orange for a fine in the amount of $250 per unreturned badge. The amount of the fine is subject to change without notice. TENANT’s security deposit may be applied to cover the cost of the fine.

Every officer would be required to maintain one set of trousers, long sleeve shirt, and short sleeve shirt in addition to the jumpsuits. Probationary Employees will only receive two uniforms until the conclusion of their probation period, and may opt instead to maintain one class A (trousers, long sleeve shirt, and short sleeve shirt) and one jumpsuit. The City shall continue to provide special items to officers with special requirements in the event the City approves such programs (motor, bike patrol, etc.).

Badge. The Company agrees to admit to its bases the officially designated representative of the Union to transact business as is necessary for the administration of the Contract. Such business will not interfere with the operations of the Company.
