Basic Overtime Rates. (a) Except as otherwise provided below, overtime compensation will mean a rate of pay equivalent to one and one-half (1 1/2) times the regular straight-time rate of pay. (b) Employees will be paid overtime compensation at the rate of pay equivalent to two (2) times the regular straight-time rate for all time worked in excess of twelve (12) consecutive hours. (c) Employees will be paid overtime compensation at the rate of pay equivalent to two (2) times the regular straight-time rate for all time worked between 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM. Additionally, employees will be paid overtime compensation at the rate of pay equivalent to two times the regular straight time rate for all call out overtime worked. (d) Employees will be paid overtime compensation at the rate of pay equivalent to two (2) times the regular straight-time rate for all time worked on Sundays and holidays. (Amended 11/30/98) (e) Employees may elect to accrue and use up to seventy two (72) hours per calendar year of compensatory time off. Such time shall accrue as hour for hour worked and remainder of overtime compensation shall be paid at the appropriate rate. Employees with accrued compensatory time off will be cashed out at the end of each calendar year. (f) All compensatory time taken must have prior approval by management. Compensatory time off will not be approved if overtime must be worked to cover it. (g) Not withstanding any other provision contained herein, when an employee travels to or from a site for purposes of attending training or a conference, and said travel is occurring outside the employee's normal work hours, said employee shall be compensated at the straight time rate of pay not to exceed four (4) hours on a calendar day.

  • Overtime Rates All overtime hours shall be compensated at the rate of time and one- half (1-1/2).

  • Overtime Rate In accordance with the applicable wage and hour laws, the overtime rate will be one and one-half (1-1/2) of an employee’s regular rate of pay. The regular rate of pay will not include any allowable exclusions.

  • Wage Rates Contractor shall post a copy of the wage rates at the job site and shall pay the adopted prevailing wage rates as a minimum. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 1773 of the Labor Code of the State of California, the Board of Supervisors has obtained the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and the general prevailing rate for holiday and overtime work in this locality for each craft, classification, or type of xxxxxxx needed to execute this Contract from the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations. These rates are on file with the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors. Copies may be obtained at cost at the office of County's OC Public Works/OC Facilities & Asset Management/A&E Project Management or visit the website of the Department of Industrial Relations, Prevailing Wage Unit at xxx.xxx.xx.xxx/XXXX/XXX. The Contractor shall comply with the provisions of Sections 1774, 1775, 1776 and 1813 of the Labor Code.

  • Base Rates Attached to and made a part of this Agreement is Appendix A which sets forth the straight-time hourly rates for all employees covered by this Agreement.

  • Overhead Rates The Engineer shall use the provisional overhead rate indicated in Attachment E. If a periodic escalation of the provisional overhead rate is specified in Attachment E, the effective date of the revised provisional overhead rate must be included. For lump sum contracts, the overhead rate remains unchanged for the entire contract period.

  • Annual Percentage Rate Each Receivable has an APR of not more than 25.00%.

  • Wage Rate The hourly rates for full-time junior and adult apprentices as set out in this agreement shall apply to school based apprentices except that the school based apprentice for pay purposes will be paid a further 25% of hours to the actual hours worked for off the job training.

  • Daily Overtime All employees shall be paid the applicable overtime rate of time and one-half (1-1/2) for all time worked in excess of eight (8) hours per day.

  • Accrual Rates All eligible employees shall accrue vacation pay according to the following rates:

  • Sleeping Room Rate(s) A. The Contractor shall provide sleeping rooms to the Attendees at the following rate during the Program: i. For single occupancy room, $@@@.@@ per night per room. B. The Contractor agrees that it will waive all applicable taxes and surcharges for Attendees listed on the Master Account Approval List, pursuant to the Hotel/Motel Transient Occupancy Tax Waiver (Exemption Certificate for State Agencies) form signed by the Judicial Council and included in this Agreement in Exhibit H. C. The Contractor may xxxx tax and/or surcharges, and/or tourism fees, if any, in addition to as included in the sleeping room rate, as set forth in this provision. D. The Contractor shall extend the sleeping room rate to Attendees two (2) Days before the Program and two (2) Days after the Program based on availability.
