Common use of Benefit Premiums Clause in Contracts

Benefit Premiums. a) The employee may choose to pre-pay both the employee and employer portions of the applicable employee benefit premiums before the leave commences or may request that all benefit plans be held open pending resumption of employment. b) An employee will be retroactively reimbursed the employee’s portion of the benefit premiums, which the employee prepaid, for the medically related portion of the leave. c) Upon return from parenting leave an employee shall be entitled to purchase prior service into the Local Authorities Pension Plan.
