BID FORMS. It is advisable that bids be submitted on appropriate Bid Forms prepared by the Purchasing Department in order to avoid errors, misconception or ambiguities in reference to the Project Documents.

All blank spaces for Bid prices must be filled in with unit or lump sum prices for each of the items for which the bid is requested. 8.2 Bid Forms shall be completed in ink or be typewritten. Discrepancies between words and figures will be resolved in favor of words. Discrepancies between the indicated sum of any column of figures and correct sum thereof shall be resolved in favor of the correct arithmetic sum, based on words. 8.3 Bids by corporations shall be executed in the corporation name by the Chief Executive Officer (or other corporate officer). The bid must be accompanied by evidence of authority to sign the bid and the corporate seal shall be affixed and attested to by the secretary. The corporate address and state of incorporation shall be shown below the signature. 8.4 Bids by partnership shall be executed in the partnership name and signed by a partner, whose title shall appear under the signature. The official address of the partnership shall be shown below the signature. 8.5 All names shall be typed or printed below the signature. 8.6 The Bid shall confirm the receipt of all Addenda. Actual number of Addenda received shall be filled in on the Bid Form. 8.7 The address and telephone number of the person to whom communications regarding the Bid are to be directed shall be shown. 8.8 Bids shall be submitted (original signatures) in a sealed opaque envelope bearing on the outside the Bidder's name, address, and the Project Title for which the Bid is submitted. If forwarded by mail, the Bid shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope with the notation "BID ENCLOSED" on the face and address as above. The Bid Security shall be submitted in a separate envelope from the Bid and attached to the sealed envelope containing the bid.
