Birth Father. An employee who is the birth father shall be entitled to up to thirty-seven (37) consecutive weeks of parental leave without pay. The employee shall take the leave within fifty-two (52) weeks of the child's birth or date the child comes within the care and custody of the employee.

Birth Father. If the birth mother of the new-born child has served the two (2) week waiting period as part of her Maternity/Parental leave, the birth Father need not complete the waiting period; thus Parental Leave is defined as a leave of absence from employment of up to thirty-seven (37) weeks and must be taken within the fifty- two (52) weeks following the child’s birth.

Should a portion of the project be affected by wet weather, all other employees not so affected shall continue working in accordance with award conditions, regardless that some employees may be entitled to cease work due to wet weather. If a halt to productive work occurs due to inclement weather, the parties agree that employees may be relocated to other unaffected sites. Where the above steps are not possible, affected employees may be required to attend tool box meetings, work planning sessions or skills development activities, all of which will count as productive time for payment purposes.
