Block-Ready Cutting Plant. If the Employer transfers the cutting and fabricating of retail cuts of fresh meats from its retail store or stores covered by this Agreement to a plant operated by the Employer located in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia, the Employer will recognize the Union as the bargaining agent for the meat cutters, apprentices and wrappers employed by the Employer in the cutting and fabricating of retail cuts of fresh meats at the said plant. In the event that the plant referred to above is certified by, or under a Collective Agreement with another Trade Union at the time it is acquired by the Employer, the foregoing shall not apply. The Employer will give notice if they are building their own cutting plant in the area of the Collective Agreement. As much notice as possible up to six (6) months will be given, but not less than four (4) months. When the Employer starts a new cutting plant in the area of the Collective Agreement, and if any full-time employees are displaced from stores because of this, the Employer will give hiring preference to these employees for three (3) months prior to the opening and including three (3) months after the opening (provided they can perform the work required).   • Project Completion Date It is agreed between the Parties that the Project Completion Date is <END DATE, YEAR>. If the Project is not completed by such date then, subject to an amendment agreed to between the Parties, Alberta Innovates may elect to terminate this Investment Agreement. In such event, Alberta Innovates will notify the Applicant of its decision to terminate as soon as reasonably practical and shall advise the Applicant of the effective date of termination. Alberta Innovates will have no liability or obligation to reimburse the Applicant for any Project Costs incurred after the effective date of termination and may require the Applicant to return any portions of the Investment which were spent on Ineligible Expenses.   • Project Completion The Contractor agrees to schedule a final job walk with the County. If required, the County will prepare a list of incomplete items, the “Punch List”.
