Board Development. As new Board Members are added, each is provided with a New Board Member Welcome Packet, which contains information in regards to responsibilities of being a Board Member. Within the packet responsibilities listed include, but are not limited to: Board Member roles, state statute for charter schools, ethical standards, meeting laws, policies, financial reports, budgets, and other responsibilities. As a new Board Member, an individual will also receive access to an account for an online Board management tool. This tool will be used to manage flow of information and documents as the Board works through its regular duties and responsibilities. Throughout the year, as decided by the Board Chairman, there may be a training schedule to include, but not limited to, the roles/responsibilities of a Board, review of the school’s charter, review of financial audits, the Board’s Ethical Standards, and state statutes. As appropriate, the Board may include other training, including external training, as needed based on costs and time. Potential trainings include training through the Idaho Charter School Network or other regional trainings. The Chairman will make sure the Board is aware of these opportunities. Board members will be encouraged to attend parent and staff educational meetings, as well as school fundraisers and events. BoardOnTrack, a nationally-renown Board development organization, will work closely with Future’s founding Board to ensure that Board members are properly prepared to serve - and that once Board members are serving, they have access to all the tools they need to succeed. Ethical Standards Future Public School will explore ISBA membership, create, and adhere to ethical standards.

Training courses for FY 22-23 (Xxxxx) PCSNM is having a conference December 8th/9th - all required training hours can be obtained at that conference. $450 per person for members (we’re a member). If we get 4 or more people to go it reduces to $400 per person. Xxx is registered. Let’s try to have one board member go down with Xxx - Xxxxxxx will, pending running the dates by her partner. If she can’t go Xxxxx will. Initiate PO’s for one board member.

By mutual consent of the consumer and THE ARC OF XXXXXXXXX COUNTY, these services must be provided in-person (or by Skype, FaceTime, or other online communication tools, in exceptional circumstances). Job development/placement may also include arranging job trials/job shadowing for individuals with a DORS Trial Work Experience Plan, assistance with completing applications, assistance with employer follow-up after interviews, use of personal employment networks in job search, and resume update. It would include time spent calling employers, visiting and educating employers and similar activities. Job development/placement shall not be paid for using supported employment funding and shall not include the Discovery process, which is pre-vocational in nature and may be completed prior to job development. Up to 60 hours for job search assistance, authorized in 20-hour increments, may be used for job development. Additional hours of job development may be requested and require written justification by THE ARC OF XXXXXXXXX COUNTY and approval of the DORS regional/program director. Authorizations for Job Development. DORS only pays for job development services which have been previously authorized by a DORS official. Job Development Reporting. The Employment Service Progress Form is expected to be submitted to DORS on a monthly basis per consumer. This form is available on the DORS website (xxx.xxxx.xxxxxxxx.xxx).

  • Staff Development ‌ The County and the Association agree that the County retains full authority to determine training needs, resources that can be made available, and the method of payment for training authorized by the County. Nothing in this subsection shall preclude the right of an employee to request specific training.

  • Independent Development Receiving Party may currently or in the future be developing information internally, or receiving information internally, or receiving information from other parties that may be similar to the Disclosing Party's Confidential Information. Accordingly, nothing in this Agreement will be construed as a representation or inference that Receiving Party will not develop or have developed products or services, that, without violation of this Agreement, might compete with the products or systems contemplated by the Disclosing Party's Confidential Information.

  • Training and Development 14.1 The parties are committed to, and acknowledge the mutual benefit to the employer and employee of planned human resource development and the provision and participation in relevant development opportunities (including accredited training).
