Training Hours Sample Clauses
Training Hours. Official time for training for union representatives may be locally negotiated in accordance with Article 4 of this CMLA. Training for union officials on 100% official time will not count against any training hours negotiated for other union representatives.
Training Hours. Any outside training hours (Learning Store/Private Learning Institutions) are not considered part of the schedule. Initial cashier training of twenty-five (25) hours is not considered part of the schedule. Employees may waive their availability status in order to attend off-site training, cashier training and the new hire orientation program.
Training Hours. Officers attending training schools or classes who work eight (8) hour or ten (10) hour tours of duty shall have one (1) day of training count as one (1) day of work for all such training lasting three (3) days or less. Training lasting four (4) or more days shall be treated as eight (8) hour workdays for all days of such training. Officers shall be notified in advance of the class hours involved and the number of hours to be paid.

An employee who must travel beyond the administrative boundaries of Montclair and its sphere of influence for required training shall be considered to be in paid status for a 10- hour workday if the training is scheduled for a minimum of 8 hours for each day of training, and the training occurs on a scheduled workday. This provision shall not apply to "voluntary" training.
Training Hours a) It is understood that the following training programs are required as a condition of continued employment and have been designated as such by the Ministry of Community & Social Services: current CPR and First Aid and current Crisis Prevention & Intervention (CPI).
b) CPR and First Aid and Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) will be provided by in-house trainers at no cost to employees. Employees will be paid to attend provided the Employer is not required to backfill hours for the employees attending the training. The Employer will schedule training during the afternoon shift from (12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.) in order to ensure sufficient coverage at the community home. Mileage will not be paid by the Employer for attendance.
c) Defensive Driving and CPR and CPI refresher courses which include fire extinguisher training and generator training and Personal Outcomes Measure Training will be provided by the Employer by certified instructors and employees will be paid to attend this training.
d) Ongoing WHMIS training, back care training, person-centered planning training, Workplace Violence Training, Abuse and Neglect Training, Quality Assurance Measures Training, and Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Training and other training deemed essential by the Employer will be provided at team meetings or through self-directed learning during work hours.
Training Hours. The District will provide a total of sixteen (16) hours of mandatory training opportunities per work year for Transportation employees. Eight (8) of these hours will be scheduled on a day prior to the start of the school year. The remaining eight (8) hours will be scheduled in two four (4) hour increments. The District will notify employees of scheduled training hours or asynchronous training opportunities at least ninety (90) days in advance of the training being available. Times are to be listed for each training at the time the training opportunities are communicated to employees. Some training hours may also be offered asynchronously. Training hours will be incorporated into all applicable benefit accruals.
Training Hours. Training takes place 9 am - 5pm. If Student arrives late for a course, or is absent from any session, Esri EA reserves the right to refuse the student admission in to the class if the instructor feels the student will not gain sufficient knowledge or skills in the remaining time. In all such cases, the full course fee remains payable and the student can join the class at the next scheduled time.
Training Hours a) Full-time staff will have mandatory training sessions scheduled within their forty (40) hours of work.
b) Full-time reduced staff's mandatory training hours are included as seniority hours and will not exceed forty (40) hours per week.
c) Part-time staff's mandatory training hours are included as seniority hours and will not exceed thirty two (32) hours for that week.
d) Full-time reduced staff and part-time staff will not include the mandatory training hours as part of their hours for the purpose of the call-in procedure and extensions.

Training Hours. During the 2011 negotiations, the union and the company agree that training hours provided for employees hired as temporary or vacation replacements will not count towards the first one hundred and twenty (120) days of their employment towards the fulfillment of the probationary period.
