Call In Part-Time Employees. (a) Where a call-in is requested within one-half hour of the starting time of the shift and the employee commences work within one (1) hour of the call, then the employee will be paid as if the entire shift had been worked, provided he/she completes the shift for which he/she was called in.

Call In Part-Time Employees. Where a call-in is requested within one-half hour of the starting time of the shift and the employee commences work within one (1) hour of the call, then the employee will be paid as if the entire shift had been worked, provided completes the for which was called in. If the employee reports for work within one hour of the request for call-in, then the Employer will guarantee a minimum of four (4) hours work, The Employer agrees that it will offer any and all available work, caused by the replacement of absent employees, to part-time employees in the department concerned in order of seniority. The work will be offered to part-time employees either in person or by way of a telephone call to the telephone number submitted by the employee, The person designated by the Employer to call in part-time employees will keep a record of all telephone calls including the time of the call and response, if any. The Employer agrees that it will produce the record referred to in paragraph above to the chief xxxxxxx upon request.

  • Regular Part-Time Employees A regular part-time employee is one who works less than full-time on a regularly scheduled basis. Regular part-time employees accumulate seniority on an hourly basis and are entitled to all benefits outlined in this Collective Agreement. Regular part-time employees shall receive the same perquisites, on a proportionate basis, as granted regular full-time employees.

  • Regular Part-Time Employee A regular part-time employee is an employee hired to fill a posted part-time position and is regularly pre-scheduled to work.

  • Returning Employee Rights Employees returning from authorized leave without pay will be employed in the same position or in another position in the same job classification, as determined by the Employer, provided that such reemployment is not in conflict with other articles in this Agreement. The employee and the Employer may enter into a written agreement regarding return rights at the commencement of the leave.

  • Permanent Part-Time Employee A permanent part-time employee is defined as an employee who is employed in a permanent position and who is normally scheduled to work a minimum of twenty-five (25) hours and less than thirty-two and one-half (32.5) hours per week on a regular basis.

  • Full-Time and Part-Time Employees (a) The base rates of pay in the appropriate employment classification for full-time employees and for part-time employees shall be the hourly rates of pay set out in the Tables in Schedule B to this Agreement.

  • Casual Employees A casual employee is one who is not regularly scheduled to work other than during periods that such employee shall relieve a regular full-time or regular part-time employee. Casual employees accumulate seniority on an hourly basis and are entitled to such benefits as are contained in the “Addendum - Casual Employees”.
