Cancellation and Refund Policies. A. Deposit/Advance Payment
Cancellation and Refund Policies. A student may cancel enrollment by giving written notice to the school. Unless the school has discontinued the program of instruction, the student is financially obligatedto the school according to the following:
Cancellation and Refund Policies. If full payment is not received by the 14-day-prior deadline, your child’s registration might be cancelled. Please note: your $135 deposit is non-refundable. If you choose to cancel 14 days or more prior to your child’s program, your payment will be refunded except the $135 deposit. Cancellation within 13 days of your child’s start date will not be refunded. The School reserves the right to cancel the camp if less than five students are registered to participate. In this case, any payment made will be fully reimbursed in ten business days since the day when the decision was made.

You have a serious illness or injury that prevents you from living on campus at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. You will be required to register with the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse ACCESS Center and work through the housing accommodation request process. Accommodations may be made to allow for you to continue to fulfill your housing contract. 3. You have been called to active duty for the United States military. 4. You get married. 5. You become a primary caretaker for a dependent. 6. You are not physically attending classes at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. This provision is applicable through the published academic calendar drop/add deadline for each semester. 7. You are participating in an internship, research, or study abroad program that requires living away from LaCrosse. 8. You can demonstrate unusual and compelling circumstances that in ORL’s judgment living elsewhere is warranted. D. Spring Semester Only Contracts: NEW STUDENTS Contract cancellations prior to December 1, 2022 will receive a full refund of the $150 deposit. After December 1, the entire $150 deposit will be forfeited. All new student cancellations must be submitted via the Admission Office. RETURNING STUDENTS Section 1. C for conditions under which Spring Semester Only Contract cancellation will be considered after December 1, 2022. E. Contract Cancellation Request Process

You or a member of your immediate family has a serious illness or injury that prevents you from attending the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. d. You have been called to active duty for the United States military. e. You get married.. f. You are not physically attending or are no longer an enrolled student at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. g. You are participating in an internship, research, or study abroad program that requires living away from La Crosse. h. You can demonstrate unusual and compelling circumstances that in ORL’s judgment living elsewhere is warranted. After March 1, returning students may submit a request to cancel your UWL Housing Contract through the housing contract and application page on the ORL website, while new students must cancel by contacting the Admissions Office. The ORL Housing Appeals Committee or their designee retains the right to grant or deny any cancellation request and may also determine whether a cancellation fee or loss of deposit will occur. You are welcome to provide any additional documentation in support of a cancellation request. ORL may consult with another university office or department regarding your cancellation request. Requests for a release from the UWL Housing Contract to live off-campus are only considered when demand for housing contracts exceeds availability as determined by ORL. Students requesting an off-campus release must complete the Housing Contract Cancellation Request Form on the ORL website. In the unlikely event that an off-campus release request is granted, there is an automatic forfeiture of the deposit regardless of when the request is made.

Accommodations‌ In circumstances where students have a documented disability, medical condition, or injury that they believe exempts them from campus housing requirements or would require them to be released from an active housing contract, they must register with the ACCESS Center and participate in the housing accommodation request process.

  • Refund Policy After the cancellation period, the institution provides a pro rata refund of ALL funds paid for tuition charges to students who have completed 60 percent or less of the period of attendance. Once more then 60 percent of the enrollment period in the entire course has incurred (including absences), there will be no refund to the student. Application & Registration Fees are non refundable item. Books, supplies and any other items issued and received by the student would not be returnable. If you cancel the agreement, the school will refund any money that you paid, less any deduction for registration fee. If you withdraw from school after the cancellation period, the refund policy described above will apply. If the amount that you have paid is more than the amount that you owe for the time you attended, then a refund will be made within 45 days of the official withdrawal date. See Refunds section below. If the amount that you owe is more than the amount that you have already paid, then you will have to arrange with the institution to pay that balance. Official withdrawal date is on the student’s notification or school’s determination. If the student has received federal student financial aid funds, the student is entitled to a refund of moneys not paid from federal student financial aid program funds. Special note to students receiving Unsubsidized/Subsidized/PLUS/Xxxxxxx loans, ACG/National SMART/Pell/SEOG grants or other aid, if you withdraw from school prior to the completion of the equivalent to 60 percent of the workload in any given semester, a calculation using the percentage completed will be applied to the funds received or that could have been receive that will determine the amount of aid the student earned. Unearned funds would be returned to the program in the order stated below by the school and/or the student. Student liability to loan funds will continue to be paid in accordance to the original promissory note terms. Funds owed by the student to the Grant programs are limited to 50% of the gross award per program received. Sample Calculation, completion of 25% of the semester earns only 25% of the aid disbursed or that could have been disbursed. If applicable, this would be the first calculation to determine the amount of aid that the student would be eligible for from the Title IV Financial Aid programs.

  • Cancellations and Refunds Our cancellation policy is as flexible and understanding as possible. All our bookings are received well in advance of trip departures and other people may have been turned away because kayaks have been reserved. Cancellations due to weather will be determined by a Saltwater Soul associate on the day of your reservation. If cancellation is due to weather or safety concerns, we will attempt to rebook you. You will be issued a full refund if you are unable to rebook. All cancellations by guest need to be made 24 hours in advance for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours from reservation will result in a 50% refund.
