Captain Promotion. Upon promotion from Firefighter/Paramedic to Captain/Paramedic, and after completion of the one (1) year promotional probationary period, those personnel must make a decision to remain as Captain/Xxxxxxxxx, or forego paramedic specialty pay and assume the rank of Captain. Members must declare their intent to leave the paramedic program in writing to the Fire Chief.

Captain Promotion. To participate and to be eligible in the promotional process to the rank of Captain, a member must have completed one full year of service in the Lieutenant grade as a sworn police officer. The Chief of Police shall post the Captain vacancy to the IBPO membership and conduct interviews with the Town Manager of any Lieutenant who is eligible for promotion and who has expressed in writing his/her interest in being considered. If for any reason there are no Lieutenant(s) who express interest in writing for this position, the IBPO and Town of Barrington shall determine a method to fill said vacancy. Lieutenants who have been promoted from detectives will not be eligible for the captain’s position until all current sergeants as January 1, 2019, have been promoted to the rank of captain or have retired. When conducting their review of the promotional candidate, the interview board shall consider such aspects of the candidate’s seniority and service record. Consideration shall also be given to, but not limited to, the candidate’s participation in special department assignments, his/her attendance record, and any other information pertinent to the candidate’s job involvement, performance, initiative and leadership. After all eligible Lieutenants have been interviewed, the Chief of Police shall then appoint a Lieutenant to the vacant Captain position. All appointments shall be final. Fifteen (15) calendar days before the Captain’s promotional interview is scheduled, each eligible candidate shall be permitted to examine the documents which will be reviewed by the Chief of Police and the Town Manager during the interview. To continue in the promotional process, at least ten (10) days before the interview is scheduled to be conducted, all participating candidates shall read and certify that they have reviewed their records by affixing their signature on a form provided by the Chief of Police or his/her designee.

The effectiveness of the Conservation Strategy objectives and criteria, Conservation Measures, Conservation Actions, monitoring methods, and new technologies will be reviewed by the Administrator on an annual basis, with input from the Adaptive Management Committee. The Adaptive Management Committee will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating the effectiveness of Conservation Program under the 2020 DSL CCAA as described in Sections 2.0 and 16.1, including the effectiveness and implementation of the Conservation Strategy, Conservation Measures and Conservation Actions; setting priorities for DSL Habitat conservation and monitoring habitat loss; and recommending changes to any aspect of the Conservation Program based on new science. As a result, appropriate modifications to the Conservation Measures and Actions may be incorporated to further refine the goals and objectives of this 2020 DSL CCAA. Such modifications are incorporated into existing CIs, if they were identified in changed circumstances in the 2020 DSL CCAA. Modifications not related to changed circumstances identified in the 2020 DSL CCAA and instead related to unforeseen circumstances may be incorporated into new CIs that take effect after the modifications have been made and to existing CIs only with written consent from the Participants and Service. Additionally, research projects that are designed to determine the effectiveness of management practices will be encouraged and utilized to determine what Adaptive Management is necessary. Changes resulting from Adaptive Management will flow through the Governance structure as described in Section 2.0 of this CCAA.

  • Marketing and Promotion The School will be responsible for marketing and promoting the Sports Facilities in accordance with the agreed aims and targets. A marketing strategy will be prepared and implemented and reviewed on an annual basis.
