CEF experience. The CEF's regional program has been instrumental in capacity development for finance professionals, managers, accountants, and internal and external auditors in SEE. With a focus on delivering state-of-the-art knowledge sharing events, the CEF has become a leader in the field. The CEF's extensive experience in audit- and accounting-related learning serves as a strong foundation for the proposed project. Since 2001, the CEF has successfully organized over 200 learning and knowledge sharing events, bringing together more than 5.000 public officials from SEE and beyond. These events have been delivered locally (for a specific country) and regionally (multibeneficiary). Through regional projects supported by the Ministry of Finance of the Netherlands and Ministry of Finance of Slovenia since 2016, the CEF has facilitated the participation of more then 1.200 officials from beneficiary countries in 35 learning events. These initiatives have addressed audit within broader public internal financial control (PIFC) and PFM reforms that support internal and external accountability, transparency and good governance in the public sector. We have covered topics such as internal audit quality, EU funds' internal control, fraud and corruption prevention, information technology (IT) auditing, and risk management, among others. We have promoted understanding of new topics and evolving trends relevant for the region, including data visualization in audit reporting, behavioral science and code of ethics. The CEF has also addressed broader challenges in introducing financial management and control (FMC) in the SEE region. The Ministry of Finance of Slovenia, the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovenia and other donor supported projects have played a significant role in supporting regional accounting activities. These activities have focused on accrual accounting, International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS), financial reporting, cost accounting, management accounting, and the financial and accounting aspects of IPA projects.   • Independent Expert The Parties and the other signatories may, upon written agreement, resort to an independent expert in order to obtain a well-grounded opinion that may lead to the settlement of the dispute or controversy. In case such agreement is signed, arbitration may only be filed after issuance of the expert’s opinion.

  • Work Experience Formula hour equivalents will be given on the basis of the following number of students enrolled at fourth week census: 5-14 students enrolled = 1 (one) formula hour 15-24 students enrolled = 2 (two) formula hours 25-34 students enrolled = 3 (three) formula hours

  • General Experience The Applicant shall meet the following minimum criteria: -

  • Role of Experts 1. On request of a disputing Party, or on its own initiative, the Panel may seek information and technical advice from any person or body that it deems appropriate. The requirements set out in subparagraphs (b) and (c) of Article 178 (Qualifications of Panelists) shall apply to the selection of experts or groups, as appropriate. 2. Before the Panel seeks information or technical advice, appropriate procedures shall be established in consultation with the disputing Parties. When the Panel takes into consideration the information or technical advice sought pursuant to paragraph 1 for the preparation of its report, it shall also take into account any comments or observations submitted by the disputing Parties with respect to such information or technical advice.

  • Previous Experience 31.01 New employees will be classified according to previous comparable experience for the purpose of establishing wage rates. The Co-operative shall not be required to recognize previous experience of new employees who have not worked in the same or similar business in the past two (2) years. Recognized credit for previous experience shall be applicable to qualifying employees commencing with the first working day following completion of said employee's probationary period.

  • Investment Experience Holder understands that the purchase of this Warrant and its underlying securities involves substantial risk. Holder has experience as an investor in securities of companies in the development stage and acknowledges that Holder can bear the economic risk of such Holder’s investment in this Warrant and its underlying securities and has such knowledge and experience in financial or business matters that Holder is capable of evaluating the merits and risks of its investment in this Warrant and its underlying securities and/or has a preexisting personal or business relationship with the Company and certain of its officers, directors or controlling persons of a nature and duration that enables Holder to be aware of the character, business acumen and financial circumstances of such persons.
